This is why they put little huts and bars all over the mountain so you can get a beer or cocktail whenever you feel like it while skiing, kind of like how they sell shooters at the 7/11 right when you pull off the highway. They know what those are for.

You had me until that part. If they're looking for us, they will find us from our detectable emissions regardless. However, if superluminal travel is possible, this also kind of breaks the "grabby aliens" model of the fermi paradox https://grabbyaliens.com/ because we would have noticed, say, random gamma ray bursts from the use of alcubierre-white drives, or gravitational waves from something like holding a wormhole open. Both of which appear to be possible and would also lead to an expanding civilization outpacing its "bubble", so we would have noticed it regardless.
This implies that either aliens are not real as we conventionally understand them, (interdimensional space niggers as Alex Jones defines them), or that alien civilizations are nominally "Chinese" in that the few that do exist are not expanding and will probably never expand.

I dunno what universe you're living in where Harris gets the nod over Gruesome. Harris may be a black woman but she failed once and cost the donors tons of money once, and Patrick Bateman is Nancy Pelosi's nephew, so he's far more connected in the California political circuit than Harris is.

Right, but he doesn't have much influence outside of California and even Californians are tired of him. I think he might be dead in the water with all the shut they can dig up and throw at him.

I'm not even sure Kamala has the fight in her, she wants the be president purely for the prestige and fame, but is unwilling to do the work. When she was VP all she did was drink wine and blend into the Whitehouse wallpaper. Even when she was handed her golden ticket to run for the office with the full backing of the DNC machine, she played ultra conservative, rare interviews with no name podcasters that they have full editorial control over, prepared canned answers for everything. She can't handle opposition because she never faced any of it before.

My money is on is they will try for another Obama by hyping up a no name after the midterms, someone without dirt (and with the fraud investigations going on there is going to be a lot of dirt on their current roster) and they need a face for hope and change because anti establishment is still in fashion for voters.
