The two season netflix reboot was actually not half bad if you fast forward through cringy Patton Oswald.

Mike always had the better timing and knowledge of what made something funny than Joel did. While, yes, Joel did have his moments, they were few and far between. Most of the early seasons of 3k are kinda unwatchable due to the lack of direction and lack of good writing from people who didn't actually watch the movies beforehand. Most of the early seasons was Joel mocking old Godzilla movies (which actually pissed me off bigly as I'm a big Toku guy).
