This is correct and I'm going to remind the thread to keep up with the next evolution of DEI which is BRIDGE and SHRM. Obongos interview here is already dripping in their new reformed terminology. To point to one specifically, his use of the phrase "we all have blind spots.". "Blind spots" is a rebrand for "privilege" that can be more broadly applied to all races and sounds less woke-scoldy. It means that you'll sometimes accidentally(unintentionally) be racist/sexist/phobic* because of your upbringing/lack of woke. It's the same fucking thing but wrapped in deceptive language. Examples as follows:
- privilege (old language)
>I think we should live in a pure meritocracy.
>"OMG, you white CHUD. You would say something like that. You should check your privilege!"
- blind spots (new language)
>I think we should live in a pure meritocracy.
>"Chud, you might want to think more about how that could impact others. I can understand why you would want that, we all have our blind spots."
Do not blackpill but don't become complacent either. Woke and DEI aren't dead yet and are still actively trying to regroup and build a new(less scoldy) terminology structure. SHRM and BRIDGE are what they are trying to hide behind and you should keep tabs on both groups(terms). Remember, the price of democracy is vigilance.
