This is kind of an odd thing to say, I'm not sure what to make of it. If she was laying down next to him, wouldn't the part of her hearing and seeing him on the phone a foot away from her "let her know" he was doing one of those conversations?

Maybe I'm over thinking this line but if phil "let her know" beforehand, how exactly would it change the situation at all?

She wants him to let her know whenever he is gonna go on one of his late night crashouts, so that she can stay over with Tyrone.

He takes more breaks than any other streamer I've seen. I guess it's a semantic argument of "what do you consider work". I guess he does probably spend a decent amount of time each week dedicated to "work" if you include breaks and babysitting uploads. He's just such a fucking idiot it takes him way longer to produce a sub-par product. I wouldn't consider him a workaholic though, he's one of the laziest people on the planet I just can't square the two in my head.

One of the saddest things about DSP is not only how depressing his life is, but just how much he hates his life and recognizes that he wants things to better.

Unfortunately for him he's been handheld his entire life. He has no skills that would be needed to make his life better. His whole life things have just been handed to him, and when he got in trouble he is always bailed out. Even now, by all metrics his channel is close to dead, and yet he still makes more than the vast majority of Americans. And what does he do? Complain he's not getting more money for less work.

He has always relied on pity to get by, he's such a pathetic wretch that people can't help but want to help him. That's why he hates the detractors, they shatter the illusion that he's just a man wronged by the world. His problem was never that he made a mistake, it was always the tractors' fault for pointing it out. Personally I think he's finally getting everything he deserves.

Because he’s a shopaholic, or more accurately he’s got a drinking and gacha addiction. Somebody working 3 jobs to make ends meat is not a workaholic, they are just doing what they have to to get by

Phil streams and does nothing else with his life because he lives beyond his means and needs money. To me and most people a workaholic is someone who constantly needs or wants to be working in some capacity, not someone forced to.

Watching around 9:00 in the stream. Its rich seeing Wings compare himself to Burnt Peanut. I'm not much into streaming culture, but any time I've seen a Burnt Peanut stream he's high energy and looks like he's having a good time. He's obviously talented as a streamer. That's why he has a following. Its not because he is supremely talented at video games at an elite level.

Its like... No Wings. Your lack of success is not because of a "bias" against you. Its because your streams are not entertaining to watch. Your whole shtick is sitting in a poorly lit room and staring at your stream deadpan, then whining when you lose. That worked in 2008 when you where the only guy doing it, but the scene is more competitive now. You don't stand out any more.

The whole stream gave a real interesting insight into the psychology of these two. They really think that their dwindling relevancy is because a few dysgenic weirdos on the internet don't like them. Plenty of people have "detractors". Logan Paul has more haters than fans and is fabulously wealthy. Hell, the current US president has an army of A-Logs, but that wasn't enough to keep him out of the White House.

They really can't see their own flaws, the things they need to improve on. Maybe they've conditioned themselves to ignore any criticism whatsoever after years of trolling.

Part of being a pathetic lolcow streamer is refusing to acknowledge you’re a boring loser and that’s the biggest reason why you can’t maintain an audience, although wings is a little more self aware than Phil, he definitely still thinks people give a shit that he’s potentially good at shooters lol

Alright, so I'm listening through this, and I'm 100% certain: this whole call was just a thing for DSP to make him feel good about himself.

• He talks to Wings like Wings is a toddler and DSP is his mom
• Asks Wings how he's doing, only to switch the focus to himself and how "good" he's doing multiple times
• Telling Wings how "happy" he his, while also knowing he has depression issues (DSP publicly said this multiple times)

DSP wants to be perceived as the guy that "saved" someone or "made a difference" in someone's life, but if you think about it: no one in their right mind would says things like "I'm doing so good now, dude" and "I'm so happy now, and I'm doing well, financially" if they truly wanted to make someone feel better. It's actually the last thing you'd want to say to someone you think is depressed and at rock bottom. It's so off the mark...

TL;DR Basically Wings was getting pre-streamed at 1:30 AM, with DSP constantly talking good about himself.

edit: I think Kat said what she did because Phil continually embarrasses himself every time he's on a (usually public) call, plus she's probably tired. I can only imagine she's just sick of watching him step on rakes socially. Also, she seems like a very jealous person, and Phil puts himself in situations where he mentions other women because he's stupid, so every conversation is probably a bit of a minefield for someone as stupid as he is.

Speaking of jealousy, Kat only comes in/speaks up right when Wings starts talking about the female content creator Phil is accused of being one of the top donators for (although it was never confirmed to be him, could have been someone just using his name, but who knows). Early Bird is her name I believe. As soon as that topic comes up, Kat interrupts and shuts it down. Interesting timing.

I say Kat comes in/speaks up because it's very unclear. Phil claims at one point in the call that Kat is sleeping next to him and that she wears noise cancelling gear because the neighbors are so loud. But when we hear her voice, it sounds like it's clearly across the room, as though she's come to the doorway of the room Phil is in while chatting with Wings. Is Phil lying that she's asleep next to him? If she was, then why would she ask him to tell him when he's having these conversations since, presumably even with noise-cancelling headphones, you'd know if someone laying right next to you is having a conversation on the phone? To me it seems like he woke her up and she came from another room, but I'd prefer to believe that she was actually laying next to him for this whole conversation. The insane jealousy she has would explain why she spoke up and shut things down as soon as the female content creator Phil is (allegedly) a big fan of came up. But that's a stretch too because would she even hear Wings? It's all very weird.

Lots of other small interesting details throughout the call. Another thing is, if Kat is laying right next to him, it sounds very weird for Phil to talk about Kat and say "she's not even fat anymore". Even if I had lost a lot of weight, I'd feel weird hearing my partner talk about me like that to some 500 pound lolcow on the internet. It's just bizarre. Personally the highlight for me is when Phil pushes back against Wings calling their content "bubblegum content" that will get one view a year after it's done being streamed. Phil pushes back and says he still has people tell him, "and who knows if it's true," that they just checked out and loved his Heavy Rain playthrough. How does he still buy that meme? That's been a detractor dogwhistle for more than 5 years now, if not almost a decade.

To those saying it's possibly fake, I agree verification would be nice but this is no doubt real. The reason this livestream is unlisted/privated by Wings is that he was being trolled in Arc Raiders before this call, which is what prompted Phil to donate and ask to call in. People were following Wings around yelling nigger on voice chat, which is why the stream isn't up. Meerkat is a very trusted member of the dentractor community and I'm sure Wings will acknowledge this happened, and so Phil will be forced to acknowledge it as well. I wouldn't be surprised if he ignores it for a while though since it's so embarrassing. Also, I'm sure the chats or superchats can be verified somehow, but I'm so certain it's real I won't bother with it myself.

fair point. assuming theyre somewhat competent, have a degree, and 18 years of experience, something in that neighborhood tracks for metro areas with high cost of living from what i’ve seen, but that’s me and i’m not well versed in the matter, i just like to laugh at dsp
