People don't get that all of our financial systems, taxes, goverment run shit is all running on shoehorned 1950s code that is running in emulators for ibm or DEC systems from the 70s and 80s running on mid 2000s mainframes because people never bothered to upgrade or overhaul shit until it literally collapses.

This is the most important plane in the entire air force, it's the backup and relay link for the US nuclear command forces, if the white house gets nuked or the president wants to launch the missiles, this will be either the new HQ or the messenger, 1 out of 4 are flying 24/7 since the 1980s.
and look at all that shit, the newest computer is probably from 1998.
If you think banking is bad, try a shipping company or a retailer that's been in business since before the computer revolution.

Tell me if I'm wrong but.

The labor value people is being truly reduced. Soon AI will take over all creative and service things like it took over phone calls and tech support. It's expanding super quick. I think the Elon robot systems he wans will probably take a lot longer, but the service and programming will be gone soon as monetary income system. I believe the whole stupid idea of 'money' itself will soon collapse. It's not going to be sudden, but fiat money itself is a very stupid idea compared to machines.
A.I. isn't really progressing at the pace investors want it to. The entire thing is a giant bubble that has costed billions with no returns and no true path forward. Those A.I. datacenters are going to foot billions alone and take up more power than can likely be produced.

If A.I. isn't being used to obfuscate other industry practices - H1B replacements and laying off the bloat of workers added during covid and from D.E.I. - then it is mostly a pipedream to sell investors to keep adding value to crumbling tech companies.

Our biggest worry currently is going to be just how bad the economy gets wrecked when the tech bro vision burns out. Tech is already volatile, but we stupidly attached the majority of the economy to it, so anything more will really tip things to hell. This will likely be the big Trump struggle point of the year as techtards could easily cause a fall-out, or will likely (really inevitably) get a mass bailout to keep things on track.

This dude is right, as annoying as he is.

You can't have two opposing but parallel society occupying the same space. It just doesn't work. Sooner or later you will get conflict.

The question I have is how do you mend this? The Left will refuse any offer that isn't 100% capitulation to all their demands and history has shown us that the Left will not be held to any agreement made while they will do everything to ensure the Right is held to the terms of the agreement.

Who remember abortion? Rare but legal right?

375K abortions last year in the US

Who remembers Don't Ask Don't Tell?

Now we have 30 days of Gay and parades where faggots and dykes and pedophiles are openly displaying their sexual perversions in front of the nation.

Who remember Regan's Amnesty? Let theses one's be legal and it flow will stop.

15 million illegals in 4 years and the Left is doing everything to stop them from getting deported up to and including dying and rioting.

How do you live side by side with a group of people who want you dead because you are the epitome of evil to their ethos...though I use that word lightly. Ethos is too strong for the Left as that would imply they have some kind of moral standard.

I think violence is inevitable, the Left is fully convinced they're in the moral right and they anything they do is fully justified because the ends are the means for them. How can you live next to someone like that? The Right needs to understand that there is no longer any live and let live. The US will be fully taken over by one side or it will fracture into separate states who will war on us, the Left simply cannot allow the Right to exist in any way. For the good of us all it better be the Right that wins or I don't know how far down the Left will drag the world until they finally self-destruct in an orgy of death and chaos.

For the good of the world the Right in the US must start fighting back. They must start to see what the Left really stands for and how far their masters are willing to go to get there. You cannot argue with the Left, you cannot bargain with the Left, you cannot trust the Left and you sure as hell can't live side by side with the Left. They want you dead, they want your kids raped and they will laugh when it finally happens.

For the love of God US Righties...start fighting back.

It hasn't even come close to taking over all tech support. Try handling a very specific problem from a client with an ancient Solaris system he has somehow nigger-rigged to serve data to modern Windows applications. Did you train your AI on this client's very specific nigger-rigging? No? Then it can't help.
It'll already put in random coughs to trick you. It's not there yet, but you have to understand AI expounds on itself and gets better. I made a year ago an AI trailer thread on multimedia, it's already totally antiquated as hell now. It's going to take over all coding and services that are online. The backup pajeets won't even have a chance at amazon.

You think now you're gonna get 'jennifer at kansas' in support call, for last 10 years? That's going to get smaller and smaller to 0. And so will you.

While I was at my boomer parents house they had switch from the super bowl to the TPUSA half time show. Having 6 mil of your audience leave to go see someone else's halftime show isn't something you can hand wave away.
You can when they went back and watched the rest of game and all the ads. They didn't watch the band but the paid admission anyways.

Two things I want to mention in concert with what you are saying here.

The federal (and state) governments were in dire need of cobol programmers back during covid.

Most of our health care systems run on cobol, only problem is cobol isn't being taught anymore.

That's just another case of our modern world being built by, and increasingly only known by folks that are passing away in droves. WIth that in mind, let me draw your attention to fogbank.

the problem there, ALL THE PEOPLE THAT KNEW HOW TO MAKE IT FUCKING DIED. we couldn't not make it anymore, we were fucked.

1770954731644.png

we had to spend millions to reverse engineer the stuff, because we had no idea how it was made, no idea how it worked exactly, and ai wasn't advanced enough to figure it hte fuck out.

The bigger point, most of our modern system is build on some really smart men and they are no longer around, and we are in a dangerous state.

It's been over five months since Charlie Kirk was shot and the right has done nothing. To this day the left are the only people who have the resolve to follow through on their agenda while the right just tweets about epically owning libtards with facts and logic.

If you don't want infinity third worlders flooding your country or if you don't want your children to troon out there is no future for you. That's just the reality of the situation.

I started to write something that would probably have gotten me threadbanned, but I refuse to waste one on you.

The issues with the recreation of Fogbank are not really matter of institutional knowledge attrition. They actually did a remarkable job of reconstructing the extremely complex process despite that attrition, and ultimately the thing that caused the recreation to fail had nothing to do with "lost" knowledge at all. A big part of why they had to spend millions of dollars reverse-engineering Fogbank is because when they ran up the new facility to resume production based on the original plans, they upgraded to an improved cleaning procedure for one of the ingredients that ended up removing an undocumented impurity that turned out to be critical to the process. The knowledge of this undocumented impurity wasn't ever "lost" because nobody knew about it in the first place. Even if they DID have all the personnel from back then, they still would've needed to run an expensive root cause analysis to figure out why the process was failing at the new facility.

This paper (starting on Pg 20) gives a pretty detailed breakdown of what actually happened beyond the pop-sci slop version of the story that usually gets reported which lay the blame entirely on personnel/knowledge attrition.

I don't know what the fuck Zoll and Epic use for their software, but those two companies have contributed more to my decline in mental health than any other corporate entities on this planet.

I too have seen the horrors of war, the war of the autists too locked into their existing software so you have to commit horrible sins against the machine spirit to make it work. AI may have the sparse memories of those battles but it can never actually fight them.

The peaceful solution is separate countries. The Democrats won't let that happen either because the states they run are gigantic shitholes.
I know you're already dismissing it out of hand but it's not a peaceful solution at all, it would just lead to an India-Pakistan situation. The population transfers alone would be as bad as just fighting a civil war.
