You always own physical silver/gold, it's much easier to get than stocks or bonds. You can go to ebay and buy junk silver (coins that are low grade) or bars. You can go to pawn shops or coin shops and buy physical. never get tricked into buying "paper" silver or gold.

don't get spooked by the massive spikes or drops in prices, silver (gold to a lesser extent) always outperforms the stock market and has been doing so for decades at this point. Most of the silver i own I paid less than 10 dollars an ounce for, so dropping from 100ish to 70ish doesn't bother me at all. My dad has well over ten thousand ounces that he bought for under 5 bucks, i should have listened to him 20 years ago.

The threat has been they will force the Democrats to actually stand up and filibuster the bill instead of allowing them to simply declare a filibuster and everyone moves on. This puts a practical time limit on how long they can block the bill from going to a vote. Since the VP supports the bill, they will only need 50 votes for it to pass once it is allowed to be voted on.

we disagree over massie, doesn't mean we don't agree on most things. Hell I was a huge massie guy until he went off the deep end after his wife passed. I actually feel bad for the guy, Rhonda was his anchor and he's just been puppeted by some really nasty folks over the past year or so. Him tearing into bondi made me remember why i did like him so much before.

They've really been pushing the concept of a standing filibuster, meaning someone won't just be able to shout "Filibuster!" and permanently stop proceedings. If they want to waste a week swapping out every able-bodied fucktard to get up there and bloviate, be my guest. Would make for some entertaining laughs.

The Democrats still have a death grip on all the levers of power they have left. Short of declaring half of all politicians to be traitors and executing them it's not physically possible to get everything at once. And if you pay attention there's clearly a pattern of the liberals getting cheap temporary wins that get quietly overturned
