yeah tbh I'd almost expect some of the less-ancient dems to try getting physical if it got desperately close to passing
if even a fraction of the "dems = voter fraud" stories are true this is an absolute existential threat to them
Good, let's get back to the classic days of dueling and caning people and shit.

Also banning Russia sucks. The hockey could have been even better.
Isn't that kind of the opposite of what the Olympics are supposed to be?

I love that LAZERS are just a thing we have now and are willing to use on a quad-copter carrying coke across the border.

There's been a Medicare payroll tax since 1965. The 65+ crowd has earned at least some of its benefits.
Fun fact, new graduate foreign workers under OPT are exempt from that tax and social security tax.

I'm not saying it needs to be Monday-Night-Wars style "the entire locker room runs out" brawling like the Asian parliaments can roll, but just a bit of throwing hands regularly would drastically reshape how congress works

Vance comments on Olympic Athletes having spicy politics

I'm sure he's getting a lot of shit, but it's just good manners to not bite the hand that feeds you. All I know is that if this was Biden 2 and any of the athletes said anything bad about him or Kamala, they'd be on the first plane home.
It IS pretty funny how leftards make soapbox speeches about how embarrassing Trump is for America, all while shattering previous hypothetical maximums in champagne socialism

Ngl Eileen Gu is actually kinda ugly

Disagree, I say them let them fight. Say what you want about the "importance of decorum", but if you're not willing to throw hands for your constituents, then I don't want you representing me, simple as.

oh yeah if the brawls happen they happen, I'm just saying that after the a couple of the guys who got their political start alongside Methuselah crumble to dust after trying to swing on somebody there's gonna be a lot fewer concerns about term limits

A politician who lights a table on fire and throws their opposition onto it off the top rope would have a likely chance of getting my vote in the future. Just saying.

They'll physically filibuster in shifts for the next 6 months straight. If it passes, Dems are done everywhere.
Most of the Dems in the Senate are physically to old to stand and filibuster for longer than 20 minutes. They could maybe do week and a half at most because they need everyone not filibustering to be there too to block cloture votes.

If you're into that, there's a certain Republican mayor of a place in Tennessee whose political career you may want to watch with great interest.

gives a whole new meaning to "table the motion"

The Save act is good. But you are way overvaluing it unless it also puts rules on mail in ballots.

Georgia for example already requires Voter ID, and we have seen the signs of fraud there. The Dems give no fuck what the laws are when counting votes in blue cities.

It was soooooo fucking funny a few CPACs ago, the one when the Mexico guy threw a roman extended his heart to all of you, I was sorta half paying attention to whatever panels while I was showering for work, then "and from Knox County Tennessee" and I yell THAT'S GOTTA BE KANE
he didn't use his theme music like that election win though
appropriate enough to the conversation iirc he's said his long-term goal is probably the senate

I'm seeing shitlibs say it's going to disenfranchise voters.
You don't have to sell me on it.

"democrats will not fund 'more public executions' - fengfengdong"
well shit we FINALLY got the libs to want to cut back on government programs!
