It's always fun to see the Social Justice folks infighting over what is and isn't enough or sufficient to please all the various sub-factions.
According to the article she went from slave to wealthy landowner. This does explain why she was buried in myth, her actual life might cause blacks to actually think about growing past slavery and building decent lives without grifting.
It's truly a shame this lesson has been memory holed from history. All of the black people who had to fight to be successful when it was difficult at best, get an education, or be pioneers in providing future generations the mere opportunity to have an education would be turning in their graves at how messed up the education system is today and how black people dismiss education and personal/professional success as racist white man's institutions.
Guys, I think we're doomed:
You know the media is desperate when they describe a protest crowd as "Dozens."
The media will still glaze it but I think the average normie will just walk away from it thinking, 'Eh, it was whatever.'
The average person who was bold enough to publicly say anything other than they totally liked it was likely to be dogpiled in response. A mutual who posted how they weren't impressed with Bad Bunny's halftime performance received all sorts of pushback ranging from "Why are you so close-minded about other forms of music" to flat out accusations of being racist or xenophobic.
These folks don't realize one can be interested in different types and genres of music - including that from around the word - and still not be interested in some types of music. Someone who doesn't speak or understand Spanish or dislikes rap might not be interested in Bad Bunny for reasons that have nothing to do with race or nationality. Yet, they might like instrumental European music. Unfortunately not liking the right things or liking the wrong things is treated as a crime against humanity these days.
The argument doesn't matter. Libs are against voter ID because it helps them cheat in Philly, Detroit, Milwaukee, and Baltimore. If you convince them their current excuse is stupid, they'll just come up with a new one.
I forget which election it was in Detroit where a number of precincts had more ballots than names recorded in the poll books with no provision under state election law to try to figure out how that happened. That it itself allows for fraud without regard to ID rules because it's easy to do ballot stuffing and simply say, "Oops, we have more ballots than voters, but we can't go back and do something about it. Sorry (not sorry)."
There are all sorts of shenanigans that can happen with elections yet any effort to close the loopholes is met with cries of disenfranchisement or racism.
Olympic medals are made from Temu, one US athlete was jumping for joy after her win and her medal broke
I believe something similar happened with the medals from Paris 2024. I could be wrong, but I believe those medals were made in a way intended to be eco-friendly only to have them fall apart or rapidly deteriorate.
I get wanting to be environmentally responsible with such a large-scale event , but having the ultimate prize fall apart in recipients' hands is a huge negative happening for the Olympics and those in charge.
