The Extremely Online younger leftists might be so shallow that everything is the Rebel Alliance, but I think it's Current Year brain rot more than it is anything specific to leftism. And to dig a little bit on that, I think part of it is that shit like Star Wars or Harry Potter is something that communicates an idea between people living in different areas of the country who may not have that much in common otherwise.

As far as Trump goes, one of the things that I keep coming back to is how for 40+ years he's been wealthy, famous, married to beautiful women (and Melanoma), and he's been a president who will absolutely be known in a thousand years, if only by scholars, but he's a miserable, petty, angry, vindictive man. I can't make any of you see what I'm talking about, and I know I'm about to float a pop culture reference, but he's the Walder Frey of presidents. He's got it all, but instead of being a happy warrior, he's willing to burn his own reputation down to take a cheap shot at a perceived enemy.

Leftism in general and the democrats in particular are in the wilderness right now. A lot of the circular dick-kicking we're seeing from the left comes from having no leadership, or weak leadership. Like these dweebs always do, he didn't investigate for shit about the subject. For example, he dedicates a bit to complain as to why Will eats hot dogs in the intro (which is a callback to a restaurant owner recognising Will ordering and eating by himself, much like the birthday cake also in the intro), he investigated enough about Emily to know she used to be Pistachio girl and the music videos she made of Will, but this nigger knows nothing else. No Stancilwaffen, no lore, no failed campaigns. The video wasn't made before Will was attacked by the antifachud.

So this nigger called Pat makes a big deal out of the nigger word being used in the show even though he only watched the first two episodes, so I'm going to make a point of overusing nigger. And even though he said it was a chore to watch it he teases his audience with a sequel.

This nigger called Pat makes a big deal about how AI is only ever slop and conservatives can only ever make slop. So, what's the criticism this film school vet uses for the low hanging fruit of AI made animation? Continuity errors. He literally complains about how the beers refill themselves and that the crowds change in every shot. I respect your intelligence enough to spare you a whole paragraph as to how pedantic nigger called Pat sounds with this criticism alone.

Nigger called Pat dedicates most of the video to the first episode. I imagine he does because he quickly realised the jump in continuity quality. Even then the bulk of the video are this tangents about explaining how Will represents the white saviour leftie, how the riots are because of modern gestapo or how WEIRD WEIRD it is that someone can find ultra lib Will turning into a Nazi funny.

The moment that made me laugh though was that he makes a huge deal of showing the ending of the second episode uninterrupted to make a point about how lazy it is, except he doesn't, the nigger called Pat cuts before the Shocktober 7th joke.


I also went to film school so I'm going to say why I do find TWSS so amusing. A good deal of the dialogue and some scenes are things Will has tweeted (I can't remember to who but he did tweet the Alex Karp rant, word for word) and the turn to Nazi, breedable chud Will is funny because he can write some nasty shit when he feels the subject warrants it. Not to mention that he winches when lefties don't support him as if he really was fighting in the frontlines. Will Stancil is pure Minnesota nice, with all the passive aggresiveness that entails. Is entertaining having a show centred on this clout driven loner where he is the actual centre of attention and still drive him mad both in-universe and irl. Believe it or not, some people find AI funny for how shit it is and even then, TWSS is leagues better than true slop. It isn't perfect and I can totally see how AI-assisted cartoons will desilussion me harder than v-tubers, but it does feel like Emily is refining her craft with every episode. It would be a million times better if she could actually animate it herself? Ofc but the AI part makes it amusing because AI is so deep into Will Stancil.
