Most celebs understand this in some capacity now. It's not only YouTubers. Groupies aren't the same as they used to be and famous men have adjusted accordingly. It's mostly all coordinated online now and kept lower profile but the risk is they could have their messages exposed at any time.

Josh made it a point to mention the structure of the video (sadly missed that clip, I readded it in the merge request, thank you!) and how he mostly made it a point to discredit the accuser. It's not unlikely that he missed some important points on purpose, because people are more likely to be in disbelief after some mentions of disingenuous behavior anyway.
It's pretty significant that he mentioned having a ringworm only after having sex and forcing a girl to get checked for it. I wouldn't just call it "funny" and move on.
Quite the double standard if you ask me. He shouldn't be saying that if he's so upset with the rape comments. Notice how he said that, not typed that. This only pushes the point further - he drytexted on purpose to prepare for the texts being leaked, while possibly being much different in person.

In BPD 2's defense, throwing BPD 1 under the bus was the only option she had if she hoped to get away unscathed. She saw the third girl who said Tom messaged her when she was 15 do it and she faced no blow back, so BPD 2 tried to copy it. Difference being, instead of admitting what she did was wrong and instantly fucking off. She then doubled down and tried to spin it like BPD 1 was a liar, but she was true and honest. What proof, his texts and the recording of him saying "night rape". There's a lot more than the word of "lying BPD sisters", there's a pattern of behaviors that people are drawing conclusions from.

I'll just say something without quoting, my disappointed is in this forum and its lack of skepticism in this case, something that could have easily been sussed out by these two's behavior. It has nothing to do with the "black and white man bad woman good/bpd woman bad man good scenario," I could care less if a BPD woman makes accusations if they are able to show them to be true.
