So a smart studio who wanted to make dosh in China would theoretically begin working on a movie about a chicken this year.
EHH, I'm not sure. I'm not too well read on the cultural significance of the Chinese zodiac but I feel like they might do a similar thing as Western cultures where there's a couple of zodiac signs that are more "favored" than the others or are otherwise more embedded in Chinese society. Snake seems like it might be one of those, and likely the dragon and maybe the horse as well. I do see those a lot in iconography and the like. I don't see people getting riled up over rats, oxen, and rabbits. Chicken seems to fall into that latter category of ones no one really cares about.

Ehh i see a fair amount of chinese media where rabbits get a decent amount of focus, tho im unsure if that has as much to do with the zodiac as bunnies just being cute and easy to like. I mean judy hopps herself is like mega popular in china. And the shanghai disney park has a zootopia themed land, too.

If I'm not mistaken, rabbits are significant in Chinese and Japanese culture due to associations to rice agriculture, harvests and their respective festivals, and there's also a Buddhist tale about a rabbit sacrificing himself for the Buddha. The details are escaping me at the moment, but it shouldn't be hard to find it.

With the exception of Dragon, none of the Chinese Zodiac years are inherently lucky or unlucky. It depends on your personal sign and characteristics.

Zero idea of where this "Asian people love snakes" thing is coming from. Half my family is Chinese and I've lived in China. Have never seen this. Snakes and snake-like beings appear in Chinese culture and mythology just like they do everywhere else in the world where snakes occur, but they aren't especially positive symbolically.

Zootopia 2 was popular because people like Zootopia. It's an easy series to understand. Animals, colors, music, jokes. Lot of visual gags. The puns in the script can be easily localized.

You guys gon't have a magic bunny in the moon in America?
Japs are way weirder about it, though. They won't eat rabbits or deer despite those things basically being impossible to deplete (to the point where finding out people eat deer meat??? lol really? is like some space odyssey revelation when they first learn it from a foreigner at age 20), and instead choose to starve to death hunting for whatever breed of whale they already extinctified. Like, whales taste good but you have to kill them on a very careful seasonal schedule because they take fucking forever to breed new ones. I don't know why this is hard to understand. Illiterates in the Faroe islands manage to figure it out and half of them don't even have dads.

Maybe because they also taste good.

Hot Take: The Skyliner is actually the best ride at Disney World. 🚠✨ No wait times, incredible views of Epcot, Hollywood Studios, the resorts on the way, and that breeze is unmatched. If you aren’t staying at a Skyliner resort, you’re doing Disney wrong! #disneyworld #disneyskyliner #wdw #disneyvacation #disneyadult

@PurpleEater posted these over in the Fat Acceptance thread:
The PSPH gorls are officially back in Florida! Or, at least, Steph and Ashley are after road-tripping it for several days, and Steph wasted no time buying ugly overpriced garbage!

The gorls also ponder over some gaudy-looking tumblers, with Steph saying that one reminds her of Deanna because she "loves little trash cans" (huh?), one reminds her of Sarah because she loves purple (lol autistic), etc. etc. and meanwhile Ashley debates whether to get one for their upcoming cruise on the Disney Wish next month. Decisions, decisions!

Their first stop seems to be Port Orleans French Quarter for some Mickey-shaped beignets!

They also stop to take a photo with a fellow Disney adult deathfat.

The next day, Steph and Ashley are joined for a healthy lunch of greasy fried food by Steph's uncle Scott and....introducing...Nana!!

She already looks annoyed as fuck so I already love her. Each of them ordered some horrifically high calorie sandwich with fries...except for our gorl Ashley, who decided to be healthy with a chopped salad! Just kidding! It's a salad full of fried chicken and eggs and slathered in ranch. Ashley laments that this place got rid of her favorite BBQ chicken salad and her favorite sauces, as we know food is the main reason she visits these parks and thus likely to cause the biggest of disappointments each trip.

Presumably since Ashley is too fat to ride anything and they're with older relatives, the gorls have taken it easy so far, waddling around the parks and planning to see The Housemaid at the local AMC. Riveting stuff. More soon, hopefully!

In China rabbits are a symbol of gay men.🐇🦄🌈
Yeah, because they pound things in holes.

Remember these faggots have LLCs and by doing these videos they get to mark their over priced Disney vacations as business expenses even if they get a paltry amount of views on their videos.
The fact that this tubby man-child can earn anything off of this kind of content is insane to me. Who the hell watches this shit?!

you sound like a hater because you cant be a disney adult and start dancing to "he's a pirate" while sipping on non alcoholic eyeballs

I bumped into Morrow's videos and after watching one video I no longer needed to read the Consoomer/Consoomer Culture thread because when you see the final boss, no reason to anymore.
