Millennial here. I think it was Gen X that pushed casual sex onto *us*. I remember being told that casually hooking up with randos was totally healthy and empowering, andnot getting the appeal. I don't find sex with strangers a fun prospect. But I guess enough of my peers fell for it, now the Zoomers gotta deal with that BS too.

I also don't care for the way being discerning with your sexuality is insulted by being called "purity culture". Like, have people heard about the STD rates? The super bugs? Vaguely TMI, but I've spent my entire life dodging these exact Toms who go for alternative looking women because they think they will have issues enough to put up with anything.

This is a soft-launch of dom/sub shit being passed off as a compliment. Again, this is something you'll recognize if you've been following the Tom story.

As you've said, they know exactly what they're doing. They present this shit outright and look for women who won't question it and whose brokenness will outshine the serial predation whenever everything inevitably comes to light.

No woman is born with the knowledge that you are supposed to avoid people like him at all costs, they have to be systematically failed to arrive at such a broken state. Millennials, because they were on the same social media as gen Z and were there establishing the tone when zoomers first logged on, making it all blend together on the surface because people online are anonymous, definitely are some of the bigger influence for newer gens. What's really obnoxious is that this happens in pretty much any thread about a woman. They were shitting up the thread about that DoorDash girl who put the pantsless guy on TikTok to sperg about repealing the 19th and muh false accusations. It's like if I went to the Russell Greer thread to talk about how he's a classic example of male perversion and entitlement, or pointed to Spoony's Trump Derangement Syndrome as yet another reason men shouldn't be allowed to vote. I think it's because being male is still seen as the default so they're not expected to serve as representatives of their sex, whereas a woman being stupid or crazy reflects on all of us.

I once commented on an article concerning revenge porn that women should avoid sending nudes, with the one exception being if you're married to the recipient, maybe. Because once they're out there, there's nothing stopping them from being shared. Even if the guy isn't a scumbag, he could get hacked. Or he could show them to his buddies and you'd never know. Our grandmothers went their entire lives without sending their boyfriends videos of them twerking in a thong, and they still managed to have fulfilling sex lives and marriages (some of them, at least). I still specified that it's ultimately on the scrote if a woman was nice enough to send custom porn of herself and he betrays her trust. I still had libfems accusing me of victim-blaming and saying "but what if you're in a long-distance relationship?" like I was proposing abstinence before marriage or something.

That's something that really bothers me about libfems. They prioritize their right to do something stupid and dangerous over their well-being on the basis that it's ultimately not their fault if someone else chooses to victimize them. Yeah, you SHOULD be able to have a few beers in a frat house without waking up to being fingerblasted by some bro, but having the moral high ground doesn't make you any less raped.

Idk obviously it depends on the person/severity but i’ve only had nightmarish experiences with platonically being friends w bpds. They need to be putting work in too for that to work at all.

all that being said, people online like to forget that men also get bpd and are obviously far more abusive and violent than women with bpd, who woulda thunk it. The vast majority of women with BPD arent a serious danger to anyone but themselves, unlike mentally ill men.

the internet found the *worst* ( edit: maybe easiest to demonize is a better way of putting it) mental illness that is more commonly dxed in women they could find. and it’s still not even a bit comparable to what men with PDs do. Wow, your ex called you 30 times? Thats annoying. Wait till you hear about ASPD and NPD! (Mostly affect men)
