It helps that Stancil is just kind of a classic tard, he is politicalcow but he is still just fun as opposed to a whole bunch of political lolcows that are bitter assholes like Moviebob and Anisas Husband.

It's because they lack conviction, so everything they say has to have the plausible deniability of being ironic or "I was just pretending to be retarded". They don't really strongly believe in anything, which is why they don't like Will, who deeply sincerely does.

Personally I hope he’ll go the Flesh Simulator route. Not full chud, but increasing levels of noticing as he realizes the right wing is far more open minded and friendly than the modern left is.

Ian, there's no debate on this, Will is actually capable of self reflect (albeit slowly) on how his side is reacting so shitty at something, Ian is incapable of doing this. Also being Raped by a turkroach is worse than being raped by a robot it seems.
