I don't think this is actually true. The monthly payment is probably lower, but you get tax breaks for paying mortgage interest and you actually get equity when you pay a mortgage on a house. If you outright own the house, unless it' a million dollars the property taxes are way cheaper than renting and can be paid with social security checks. Also, your payment stays relatively static over the life of the mortgage, unless you get an Adjustible Rate Mortgage and that is stupid. In 10 years, inflation will continue to increase the price of rent. Your mortgage will generally stay the same over the life of the loan.

The Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia involved in this case, Joseph R. Goodwin, was appointed by Bill Clinton. His son, Booth Goodwin, was appointed in 2010 by President Barack Obama to serve as United States Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia and stayed in that position until the end of 2015.

A follow up to this:

Charges filed. Illegal Mexican in charge of hiring kitchen staff was running a whole operation of using stolen ID and fake documents. Corporate needs to burn. This entire chain needs to go out of business.

The Panicans and BRICServatives are saying Warsh is the worst pick ever so I think he's going to do a good job. I am 100% certain Trump basically told him to do what Bessent says and he won't unleash his bankai on him.

Their biggest complaint is he's hawkish on the dollar, and then lied and said he's not good for crypto even though he's pro bitcoin. Hawkish on the dollar is good if Trump is going to pivot from the first year deflation coupled with his economic policies showing they didn't destroy the world and people have largely adjusted without problem (does make me wonder if Trump knows the tariff issue with SCOTUS is in his favor now). If Japan and Chyna's currency get extremely fucky wucky this year it will be good to see someone use a strong dollar as a battering ram, please kill Canada by shoving bills in their mouth.

Yes, the president as the head of the executive branch can order any office under executive authority (all of them, basically) to interpret the law as he dictates, using an Executive Order.

Amazon itself is a deeply evil company that I've spoken about before and they don't care about anything other than union busting. When an Israeli employee was taken hostage by Hamas, they refused to acknowledge it and when he was freed, they didn't say anything. Twitch is following their parent company's lead.

More absolute distortion of the 14th and the APA to try and usurp the power of the Executive branch and defy the will of the people. I hope this judge gets t-boned by an illegal with no papers, and as he lays in his wrecked car helplessly his last memories are of a swarthy mob robbing his dying body. Its the least a traitor deserves.
