Would he ever complain about not getting as many views or subscribers as he used to when he would talk about how he hated his job? Depending on how much he was spending, he might be in financial trouble sooner rather than later.

On the surface, he really did seem to be one of the more levelheaded creators on Youtube that you wouldn't think would likely end up in a scandal.

yes i think i said it before but he would be noticeably more angry when his videos werent doing as well. he would be in a mood if his vid didnt hit 1milli mark and would constantly check his channel board view counter. one time after i took him to church his video did rlly well and he was like "God is real!" and i had to explain to him that isn't how God works lol...
texts between Vidcon Anon girl and him where he refers to his youtube channel as "his wife" as an excuse for being a shitty partner. he would essentially say the same shit to me

The money stops coming in as quickly as it started. He was making enough money to achieve genuine financial freedom for himself and any future family.

This is something that the Bible discusses multiple times, God isn’t going to reward you with free shit for just believing in him. The entire book of Job is literally about explaining that one thing. I know it sounds nitpicky, but if you want to be Christian of any kind, you need to at least try and understand the fundamental tenants of their belief system first.

Also, the whole “married to the money” schtick is so cringe. Weren’t most of his videos ghostwritten? What was he even doing, just recording the voiceovers for them?

Apologies if this has been asked already, but I'm curious after reading the above... Would you say that Tom qualifies as a "midwit?" That is, a person that is in between average and above-average intelligence, but thinks they are much more intelligent than they actually are? Also, how often does Tom read books, if ever?

yes he is not the sharpest tool in the shed i mean he is a college dropout and told me he would cheat on everything in high school so he cld go home and do youtube. i dont think he reads because when we first started talking he sent me a pic of a book he was "reading" but he left it in maine and i saw it on his table in maine when i went to visit over nye.

This leads me to want to ask you if he’s told you of any plans he has for the rest of his life / career post YouTube. Even he can’t be so dumb as to think the rest of his life is conventions, YouTube slop and bishes.

to add to the youtube stuff. When i visited tom i witnessed him record his daniel larson video lol. He does not research any of his topics and pays a group of ppl on discord to do literally everything but read the script. I know sac said he apparently fired his editor so maybe he was doing that when he was dating her. but otherwise yeah he didnt do any research or editing when i knew him and would jus read the script and play the clips they compiled for him. IDK how you can hate your job when you dont even do the bare minimum.
