Oh, gee, I didn't realize it disrupted people's lives when the police arrest criminals. In that case, we should just let people break laws.

Because there is no middle ground. The left allowed millions of illegal immigrants into the country and is fighting tooth and nail to impede any attempt of removing them. What is ICE supposed to do when the local governments are completely unwilling to cooperate with legal authorities and leftist agitators attack and disrupt operations? Do we pull a Reagan and grant amnesty to a few million and hope the left will pinky swear to not let it happen again? Mass deportations are ugly. They would be far less ugly if the left wasn't instigating. They wouldn't need to happen if the left was reasonable and implemented better border protections in the first place.

They let him walk just because ICE bad. The Law is only a weapon to be used against the Right and nothing more. They care about justice as much as they care about ethics, morality or any of that other garbage that ties down the Right but is "optional" to the progressive mindset.

Are there any updates to this? I feel like it's the most brazen challenge to the federal government so far, but it's going under the radar.

"Yeah this dude tried to kill federal law enforcement, yeah the case is open and shut, but we're just not gonna punish him, or anyone who tries to kill federal law enforcement because we don't like the president."

How is that not worthy of the insurrection act?

(L | A) SEATTLE — A jury on Friday acquitted Victor Vivanco-Reyes, of four felony counts of assaulting federal officers with a deadly weapon, stemming from a June 2025 confrontation on Camano Island in which prosecutors said he rammed a truck and trailer into agents during an arrest attempt, injuring officers and damaging government vehicles.

Vivanco-Reyes, a citizen of Mexico, was illegally living in Stanwood at the time and had fled from agents just weeks before the June 6, 2025, confrontation on Camano Island, which left multiple Homeland Security...

The jury found him innocent so there really is nothing that can be done.

He can't be charged again, the DoJ sure ain't going to appeal a unanimous jury decision because the appeals court would laugh it out so fast so yea...the spic walks free. End of story.
