Last I heard, Shatner was doing documentary-esque shows in History Channel, surprised to see him still willing to shit on this decision.

It's not like anyone that's currently working on Hack Trek can say anything to him. The guy was portraying one of the most iconic characters in all of media before most of those fuckers were born. There's literally nothing in the world they can say to cancel him.

I just wish he'd shit on Nutrek more often. I don't know why he'd care about business relationships when he's 90. But I guess Shatner wants to live forever.

The man went to space in his old age more or less for the lolz. In Star Trek Generations he chopped logs and cooked breakfast with a flabbergasted Picard to troll him. That man not only has been iconic for longer than most of us been alive, he’s been trolling us longer than we’ve all be alive too.

Shatner’s a snobby asshole IRL I’ve heard, but I respect his long-game IMO.
 
Looks like Current Year Star Trek writers put TDS in the "lore" of Current Year Star Trek (and also typical SJW anti-cop propaganda).

'No one' doesn't even make sense since obviously there are usually aliens whereever they happen to go. Its not like Trek has very many episodes wandering through barren wastelands.

If you want to be clever its also a very colonialist sentiment where the Indians weren't considered at all as the explorers were the 'first' to find their lands.
