Unfortunately theres a lot of mixed messages for young women around violent sex; you can be called a prude or told 'it happens to everyone' because of how normalised violent sex is online. It's also incredibly hard to leave a man who has already proven his willingness to be violent with you for fear of getting beaten worse. This interview is heartbreaking jfc
