The sub-70 iq internet army was out claiming "Hur dur, Trump is alienating allies by taking Greenland!"
Okay and? Who is Europe going to have to replace America as an ally then? South America who has no aircraft carriers and budget to support their needs?
Putin? Xi? Fuckin' Modi?
Eurocucks have no bargaining chips since they threw all their supplies away to Ukraine and ruined their countries with infinity migrants. Theres no country in the EU left to fight for and the US pays all their bills.
Euros realized too late that they have been just coasting along the US for their security via NATO, the preceding US presidents simply played nice with them since there was really no reason to rock the boat, now there has been this advocation for them to go their own way and have their own independent foreign policy from now.
Which is by the way, completely infeasible in any real-world scenario, right now, Europe looks united because Trump is needlessly antagonizing them for every perceived slight because MAGA inherently hates the modern state of European affairs, strongly worded statements and token actions are very easy, low commitment, and shows support for your fellow Europeans.
But this is more or less as far it would go, the threat of Russia, for example, only concerns Eastern Europe like the Baltics, Poland, Finland, it's extremely unlikely there will be a day Russian boots will ever get as far as Western and Southern Europe, and without US backing, it's very unlikely countries from those regions will help the countries under the hypothetical Russian invasion in any substantial, France is STILL doing that weird little neo-colonialism down in the former French West Africa, Turkey is doing its own completely independent foreign excursions in Syria, Greece is still kind of scared of Turkey, there's still lingering ethnic tensions in the Balkans, this why a European-wide foreign policy is just not possible, too many of the countries in it have their own separate interests that even occasionally clash with each other.
