Russ would be a terrible shot. He’s way too spastic to lay down accurate fire. Would probably need a shotgun if he went postal. Also he has severe Dunning-Krueger and would vastly overestimate his own competence with a firearm, thus never properly learning to use it. I bet he’d never even get a shot off.

Since we are now in the tangent/speculation phase of the thread, here are my 2 cents when it comes to these:

Rusty does not have the manual dexterity to properly use a gun. From what I've seen, his fingers look troglodyte in appearance, and I'm certain he may have a missing or fused finger joint.

While we will never completely know his relationship with his family, it's safe to say that him missing his sister's wedding left a sour taste in everyone's mouth, especially with how close she was to him in their early years. His parents most likely bail him out just enough to keep his head above water. It seems like after the incident with the list and what's going on now, they probably set aside some funds for such occasions. While their relationship continues to sour, he's still their child and they still care for him.

Although, being contractually obligated to have sex with Rusty due to a transaction is as close to rape as it can get. Especially once they have to deal with him in person.
