Lawsuit is retribution, not revenge. And if the offence repeats it can be used as evidence of a pattern of behavior in a future one. Which Tom can choose not to engage in any more and is a net gain overall for both parties. If she expends all her mental energy on revenge she'll miss the opportunity to move on with her life.

Lol. I wonder how many of these same losers hold that same incredulity for the subjects of Tom's poorly researched videos.

My guess:

DeOrio leads the charge saying that anyone who talks about this is a loser and should be removed from the community, uses fear to try and stop this.

However because Thomas is an edgy boy, it’s going to break containment and some lefty is going to run with this.

Update: I went over some of the fuzzy parts of the transcript that I wrote for the embedded audio files, and picked out some of the words I had missed on my first couple of times listening to it, with one of the most damning lines being this one:

Tom: "I do-- fucking, if I'm like-- with you I'm like, fucking the elf girl from like, Game of Thrones, it would be like--"

Now I don't know much about Game of Thrones since I haven't watched the series, and I'm willing to be corrected, but I did some research and there aren't any elves in the entire series with the exception of this magical race of beings called "children of the forest" which are these weird, ancient nature monsters. So I asked Google Gemini: "Which Game of Thrones characters could be mistaken for female elves based on their appearance alone" and 3 characters came up.
  1. Arya Stark, who is canonically 11 years old at the start of Season 1, and is generally considered around 18 years old by Season 8...
  2. Princess Myrcella Baratheon, who was aged around 8 years old in Season 1, and was approximately 19 years old when she died in Season 5. (I don't understand that math, but that's what's considered canon.)
  3. Daenerys Targaryen, who's aged 16 in Season 1, and aged 23 when she dies in Season 8.
In nearly every case that I looked at, the most likely person Tom's referring to "fucking" is canonically a child, with the exception of Daenerys Targaryen, which depending on which season you look at, could be either a child or an adult. Either way, it doesn't detract from how sus this all looks on his end. If anyone here knows Game of Thrones better, please help us figure out the character that he's most likely referring to and whether this character is actually a child, because that would be a wild development for the ageplay allegations.
 
I still don't understand the concept of night rape or how it's different from day rape. You'd think day rape would be preferable given his proclivity for filming
