There are certain e-celebs who know they stumbled into a really good thing and since they don't know exactly how or why they're their or what special talent they have to justify this all they can do is just not shake the boat.

I try not to judge them too much. Most of these people aren't politically engaged at all and just enjoy their hobbies and having money. To them these situatinos are minefields to be avoided and nothing else.

Asking them to take a hard stance over something they don't believe is a 90-10 issue is like asking them to put their head in an operating furnace.

The rifles themselves are metal. You can get beautiful wood furniture if you'd like and have no polymer at all.

Joke's on me because I couldn't get one even if I wanted. I can get a bunch of other, deadlier rifles, but not an AR.

Friendly reminder USAID was not destroyed, it was folded into the State Deprt and now funnels dark money to right wing NGOS that dont do anything rather than left wing NGOs that dont do anything

It seems like a lot of political thinking around control of territory is just "the biggest victim should prevail."

Look at Ukraine, Kurdish Syria, any migrant crisis, along with many other political issues.

You see this thinking a lot.

They probably think it's their best defense to cry. Like, in their minds, 50-50 this will stop the whole thing.

I mean the argument that "we dont actually want to fund NGOs to support foreign/hostile government overthrows etc" kind of goes out the window when you still actively perform foreign/hostile government overthrows

You could do this with slugs if you wanted. The reason 5.56x45mm exists is because it's light enough for infantry to carry around all day. Cost is about the same. Both will damage III plates the same way. Shotguns come magazine-fed nowadays.
 
Never understood people who risk their life rushing cops at protests, and certainly those risking their lives resisting arrest. If you do this type of shit, you should probably expect to be arrested and I've never understood the people who live in denial about that. Is it to try and larp as a martyr or out of some misguided sense that you need to be a revolutionary like those before you, regardless of a completely different political context?

I know you're right that shotguns are best for home defense, but old Cold War battle rifles are sexy as hell.

Political context is a bit irrelevant because every person, even retarded antifa troons, have different moral compasses and are going to consider some things more egregious than others. With that aside, the history of this country was people that risk their lives resisting authority, so it doesn't really strike me as shocking when that mentality (misguided or not) is embedded in people's psyche. I think it's overall a good thing, I personally prefer it to a nation of bugmen.
