There’s an interesting theory being floated on reddit regarding Chantal saying Salah’s father has retired. It goes along the lines of if daddy retired he’d no longer be able to reside permanently in Kuwait. That Salah was sent to Syria to get the house in order for his father’s return, after all it is his house. That’s why Salah didn’t want Chantal to move to Syria when she did. Also why she had a deadline to leave, and had to leave, and can’t go back. We know Salah’s father basically arrived the same time Chantal left. It’s not an altogether ridiculous theory for once. 🤔

I did see some of her battles and laughed pretty hard. However, I'm not really looking forward to her snagging any of those arabs, because it will only extend her muslima era even longer, and that tends to be insufferable in the long run. I think it would be interesting to see her beezing with someone she actually has something in common with for a change, like a wholesome arc. The thing is no one remotely nice or decent can stand her. So, I guess if she's going keep scraping the bottom of the barrel moving forward, I hope she finds one that is extra unscrupulous and conniving so we can get some good rages out of it at least.
