or like if i pointed out that the body of a government under a democracy nominally incorporates all citizens and therefore a representative who betrays the public trust is guilty of treason and should be thrown off a "high rock" like the ancient greeks

Exiled tobacco kingpin Kazem “Kaz” Hamad has reportedly been arrested in Iraq with a statement from the country’s National Centre for International Judicial Cooperation saying it was “in response to an official request from Australia”.

His dominance over the market since the battle for the lucrative trade exploded in early 2023 has seen almost 200 fire bombings carried out, ruthless extortions at rival or innocent businesses, and the death of an innocent woman in a botched arson attack.

“The convicted individual, Kadhem Malik Hamid Rabah Al-Hijami, was apprehended in coordination with the General Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances at the Ministry of Interior, after obtaining the necessary approvals from the Supreme Judicial Council to initiate investigations against him,” the statement, seen by the Herald Sun, said.

“He is responsible for importing large quantities of narcotics into Iraq and Australia, as well as trafficking heroin.”

i recently remembered the music show rage, and was surprised it's still on the air - and it's the oldest music tv program thats still running, worldwide

you can find all some of the guest programmer recordings here - youtube

rageagain.com has a great archive of playlists until 2024, but it hasn't been updated recently. you can find an updated list of what's played on the abc website but this is more annoying given you would need to look up the music yourself.

i haven't watched the 'new music' segments but being able to go back to the 90's/early 00's in the archives has been fun. there are a few artists and bands that have done recent guest programming which i will check out, i quite like hearing about what their influences and music tastes are like

If you can avoid the faggoting 2ser has some nice programming with weird music. I say weird because my tastes are very much far from the norm however you might just pick up something you like.
