A federal agent shot and killed a Minneapolis motorist when she allegedly tried to run over law enforcement officers during an immigration crackdown in the city, authorities said Wednesday.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer shot the woman in her vehicle in a residential neighborhood in Minneapolis, Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement.

Video posted online showed the vehicle crashed in a residential neighborhood. The shooting drew throngs of angry protesters to the scene in an area that is the latest target of the Trump administration's immigration crackdown.

There was a large presence of federal and local officers, yellow police tape and cars that had been in a crash in the residential neighborhood. Gregory Bovino, a senior U.S. Customs and Border Patrol official who has been the face of crackdowns in Los Angeles, Chicago and elsewhere, was among the group.

“We are aware of a shooting involving federal law enforcement near East 34th Street and Portland Avenue. Please avoid this area,” the city government said on X.

In a scene similar to the Los Angeles and Chicago crackdowns, bystanders didn't hold back in venting their anger, blowing whistles, taunting the federal agents.

“Shame! Shame! Shame!” and “ICE out of Minnesota!” they loudly chanted from behind the police tape, referring to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

After the shooting, Mayor Jacob Frey said immigration agents were “causing chaos in our city.”

“We are demanding ICE leave the city and state immediately. We stand rock solid with our immigrant and refugee communities," Frey said on social media.

The area where the shooting occurred is a modest neighborhood south of downtown Minneapolis, just a few blocks from some of the oldest immigrant markets in the area and a mile from where George Floyd was killed by police in 2020.

“We’ve been trying to live life as fully as possible in light of the fear and anxiety that we feel,” said the Rev. Hierald Osorto, pastor at St. Paul’s-San Pablo Lutheran Church, which has a predominantly Latino congregation in the area.

The Immigration Defense Network, a coalition of groups serving immigrants in Minnesota, held a training session Tuesday night for about 100 people who are willing to hit the streets to monitor the federal enforcement.

“I feel like I'm an ordinary person, and I have the ability do something so I need to do it,” Mary Moran told KMSP-TV.

The Department of Homeland Security said Tuesday that it had launched an extraordinary immigration enforcement operation, with 2,000 agents and officers expected in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area for a crackdown tied in part to allegations of fraud involving Somali residents.

The National Catholic Reporter was founded by a fairly evil guy named Robert Hoyt. He created it as a sort of opposition newspaper to the Catholic Church. He was always angry that the church wasn't leftist enough or modern enough for his tastes. The whole point of the NCR was political advocacy against the church. But Hoyt would constantly pretend it was all somehow just "good journalism".

In the late 1960s, he had become so "progressive" that he first cheated on his wife, then simply deserted his wife and six children to move to New York so that he could get deeper involved in far left politics. Religion for him was about the political causes someone supported and who they voted for. The moral, personal or religious component of religion meant less than nothing to Hoyt.

It’s okay to kill white women now because they’re race traitors who won’t fuck me. I’ll keep winning by living vicariously through jackboots murdering white women and molesting children because they’re communists standing on the wrong side of my political views. I support ICE because I believe they’re just like me in that we both share a sub 100 IQ thus meeting recruitment requirements.
"Fleeing felon rule scares me because I may want to commit crimes sometime (not today) and I don't want to be shot to death when I do."
Please add this child's logic to your collection. Also question why we have that rule in the first place, or militarized police departments (it's niggers).

If she was black and male, no one would be arguing whether she deserved to be shot.
There honestly have been similar stories of Hispanics randomly assaulted by ICE/CBP and they didn't even become national stories, even when there was video of what happened.

Really has worked against them that there's video of what happened here and it was a white woman

Why the fuck did they even air this?

Watch the video, you see him walk in front of the car *before* she starts moving
She starts moving back
He starts hurrying
She starts moving forward at pic above
He keeps moving and shoots her

I really don't understand why people think this wasn't a justified shoot, am I retarded? Probably. But I don't think I'm wrong about this.
No, it's just the Rittenhouse effect: the reality of self defense has intruded its ugly head into their nazi fighting martyr larp (which oddly never seems to consider that martyrs die) so they need to fight tooth and nail to pretend that somehow there's an external justification for everything this stupid woman did, nothing the person who shot did is right, and that just because cops are human and most try embarrassingly hard not to do their job when confronted with attempted vehicular assault on themselves by a suspect means that no cops should ever shoot someone driving at them.

"Oh but she wasn't breaking the law she only brushed him"

This is videogame logic.

I really just wish bullshit like this would cease. That woman didn't deserve to be ventilated like that, but the only reason she did was from being propagandized. The ICE agent did get brushed, but he had his sidearm drawn before he ever got touched, I watched all videos I could find for around 4 hours. This is another situation where there are no star wars good guys for the reddit crowd, and no patriotic hero for the right wingers. I don't like it at all, but I side with the ICE guy in all this with all the info. That woman was clearly siding with people who would deliberately hate her guts for not being somali for all her inept political posturing with her honda pilot. If she had a next time, I would tell her to fight her battles in better fields. I don't consider it a bad thing in this instance that she lacks the chance.

Interesting analysis from the Jew York Times. If you're still pretending that he was hit or that he was totally in danger dood he had to act in the heat of the moment and murder her dood!!1!, I want you to know that when another libtard shoots someone important, and you go to A&N to fawn and cry and whine about muh political violence, I'm going to laugh at you and kirkify the victim.
See my post

I don't get the urge to defend this woman. Is it cause she's a white woman and we shouldn't be encouraging the death of white women if we want to save the huwhite race? I don't care if this is a goycattle take to have but I have no sympathy for anyone who deliberately antagonises an authority figure and creates a situation where they are their own worst enemy. It reflects a lack of any Darwinian self-preservation that you don't know how to control yourself around a person with a gun or a cop who can arrest you.

The amount of Catholics that I've seen bashing JD Vance is honestly really angering me. He said nothing wrong. He walked through what happened, and articulated clearly that actions have consequences (a concept, btw, that Catholics believe in). He did not justify Renee Good's death. If he had done so, he would never have said that this was a tragedy in the first place.

C*tholics are only interested in importing more subhuman brown heretics to give them a higher percentage of the population and therefore more influence.
