I rather like this "We don't negotiate, and I just do what I want, and you try in vain to stop me" thing. Can we do this with other countries as well?

Major cannot be emphasized enough. They became the largest group crossing the US border in 2023. And most of them did not make that decision lightly.

Removing Maduro doesn't remove his regime though.

The Venezuelans were trying to play chess earlier with Trump when they thought they could negotiate.

Trump instead was playing Rainbow Six Siege with no preparation time given for the defenders. Turns out Jack Ryan season 2 predicted a lot of shit and wasn't just a CIA power fantasy in the eyes of the public.

Fell asleep right before everything started, woke up in disbelief after a little nap and am totally fucking happy after reading up.

Now, my big question: If they wanted to cut the head off the snake, why not take the vice president and the other major military leaders too? Otherwise, I don't think this will actually succeed if they wanted to place in a new capitalist government that is receptive to them (e.g. Guaido until he lost favor with everyone by being a fucking idiot) unless a plan is actually in place.
Nixon and Kissinger would have gone right for the jugular instead of just Maduro if they were around today. Someone prove me wrong and lay out details, because I'm still somewhat skeptical about the end result because I think there's a ton of unfinished business left if we're going all-out.

Also, no U.S. casualties?
 
This kind of creates a pocket of missing power in Venezuela. It's certainly not as easy as the opposition leader (who we like more) waltzing in and assuming power. Curious to see how this plays out in the coming days, but I'm guessing not well for Venezuela.

Honestly, this has been coming since certain countries got to the stage of just doing whatever the fuck they wanted because they realised that the stern look and tut-tutting from the people who could literally wipe them off the map didn't actually matter.

You'll have people claiming the War On Drugs didn't work while one side was piling up heads in the town squares of South American nations whilst the other side was setting up faggy "harm reduction clinics" in their major urban centers for this junkie vermin buying this shit from the former.

Turns out places like Singapore have the right approach and drug traffickers simply being disposed of like a feral animal is the best solution.

I disagree. If anything, this is a fantastic show of force, and whoever gets in (prob Machado) will understand they can, and will, be fucking raped by niggers to death if they keep trying to fuck around.

I think whoever gets in will understand that threat and make sure they are immune to it.

I mean one of two things happen, more of the same or things get bloody for everyone. The people there will never get a better chance to do something about their situation and I doubt the US is interested in a sequel of Afghanistan.
