Phil's plan in 2026 is to stop completing games and be more willing to try out more games. So, his content is somehow going to get worse with more long character creation streams and farting around like an idiot in tutorials and asking chat how to do anything. At least its an actual counter to the wage quit meme.

I predict this is all just a precope for when detractors hit him with the wagequit. He hates being told he quit a game 100% because the taxes weren't hit.

You present yourself as a "real gamer who just plays a bunch of games" then the appearance of a wagequit is softened to the idiots who believe in him.
 
I actually wouldn't mind a streamer who bought some random shit off steam (or splurged during the summer and winter sales) doing a stream where they spin a wheel a couple of times with a list of a bunch of games that were bought but not touched, and then had that be the stream for the day as that would produce actual variety and open the door to games I potentially never heard of before.

The problem is that Dave is an alien lacking an atom of charisma so he wouldn't be able to jump from one game to another, he would take hours to even start the stream, then an hour to start each individual game, and then quitting right when he finishes the tutorial, so this hypothetical stream would be like his Christmas Eve shit only without the bragging to Ralph and Gayhole.

It's basically what Jerma does. He's made a successful career just platying bottom of the barrel shite, among his more mainstream games.

I find him entertaining, though there's some times I cringe at collabs with the likes of Hasan. But the dude is what Phil wishes he could be.
 
Random thoughts at the close of another great day for detractors:
  • This magma333 guy…is it Canadian Kirk? Had that thought because he’s race-obsessed and saying some absolutely wild shit in superchats about detractors being brownoid lefty simps. It’s funny except for the paying Phil part.
  • Does he actually think the Kick trolls are kino people? They’re yours, Phil. They’re your detractors. Most of them were probably on your ass before Ashton gave them a great new venue to torment you, miseryguts.
  • Phil ended the stream with multiple thank yous for a great start to 2026. This after complaining and threatening for the previous 30 minutes (conservative) and overall third stream in 2 days where the funding KPI has not been realized.

I’m calling it now he’s going to turn the night streams into “tryouts” where he chooses one game a night to test the waters.

I’m sure he’ll occasionally find a walking sim or rougelike endorphin overload type game that holds his interest or attracts a whale.

Most of the time though it will end up being 30-45 minutes of gameplay before he quits to chill with Phil for the remainder of the stream.
