This is exactly why I, as a woman, refuse to work in a majority female office again. I worked in a few offices that were 80+ percent women due to the industry, and I'd rather be in a prisoner of war camp. It was far worse than high school and I went to a high school with a particularly bad mean girl culture.

An place that I occasionally go to has a new parking garage, turns out that you have to download a very specific app to pay for it instead of just paying the traditional way. Needless to say, I go there even less than I normally do.

I went through the airport a month or so back and picked up something in the duty free. A sales lady approached me and said that if I downloaded the duty free app I’d get a discount. She was waving an iPad in my face and was really pissed off when I politely said I didn’t want to.
Same here. I've worked in majority male, female and mixed. A roughly equal mix seems the best balance.
Just wait until we go into an "paperless" society. I know of an few government entities who will just mail you shit and expect you to follow up with registering an account on their website just to get back to them.

Aside from the obviously retarded suggestion of " starting your own," hardly much of anything will happen. As long as the money keeps flowing and the majority of people are content with buying substandard crap, things will largely stay the same way as they are. Although, there's always the off chance that it'll force a few work sites to purge their diversity hires.
It makes me MATI because I keep getting turned down for jobs because they don't want to train me. For anything. I got casually told that the leadership doesn't want to spend the time. Then I get rejection emails loaded with typos from some woman in HR. I get upset when I realize that I'm just getting fucked by incompetent supervisors and management in work, or even in interviews. I had to answer some retarded shitlib woman's interview for a clerical job, which was HELL. It goes into navel gazing bullshit where I have to reverse engineer some sort of Modern Audiences shitlib answer for everything.
If the jobs you've worked are anything like mine, then the trainers are also incompetent, because they were trained by incompetent trainers before them. It's incompetence all the way down.
I believe that a lot of people actually deserve to be paid less for this reason. I agree that things like affording a house or a family or whatever are out of reach for many people nowadays, but paying them more is not the answer. The answer is to somehow bring down the price of those things while also paying people less and abolishing the minimum wage.
Not me. Lowering the skill floor means success can potentially become more attainable to you, me, and other smart retards like us who can do our jobs well but may not have the credentials and college degrees that would normally be demanded. It's doom for other people; it doesn't have to be for us.
I hate how so many white collar jobs are gatekept by minor credentials, like needing the MS Office ones, or needing to be able to use specific programs like Salesforce or databases. But they expect you to just have the experience. I'm just wondering WHY so many of them just list out proficiency with whole lists of applications/programs in entry level positions.
You start to wonder if all the people saying fluoride in the water is dulling our minds might be right. Or its some other undiscovered/suppressed rot that nobody's paid attention to yet.

Actually true, because I've had that exact line of thinking as well as I work on my trade credentials. However, then my brain goes "Ok...so I make it and things go to shit around me...then what?"
A rich migrant friend of mine told me a story a while back I'll never forget. It was the day he decided to emigrate: he walked out his front door one morning and the cover for the manhole in the street had been stolen (for scrap.) And he finally asked himself 'what good is my money when outside my front door is like this?' We use to laugh and argue a lot because emigration is very much on the menu for me too. (But it would be me leaving the country that he fled to for a better life. He can't say it's not an option - because it's the option he took - but then he's rattled because I'm saying he went from one sinking ship to another.)
Its a lot, but dont forget that burnout culture is a real thing as well, and if youre dead tired- you will be making more mistakes than otherwise as well (thats everyone now, though doesnt excuse the genuine fuckups)
Back in the day you would have internal promotions. The guy smart enough to do the job well would be recognized and moved up. Then you would have a manager that understood the place he worked at and could even jump in the trenches if need be. Now they just hire managers with prior experience in other companies. They have no clue about the company they get hired into and just try to run it the same way as they did every other place.
Not a factory, but worked in a store where the founder had just retired out as I came in, and not even a week later, they cut most of the fulltime slots and complained about not being able to keep good help. Got firsthand experience watching that shitshow.
