That's also why these kind of fucks leave long rambling manifestos, in the hopes of either getting media attention or in the case of that fuck who killed kids on an island a few years back, to push some far out political agenda, and to an extent it has worked. Just look at the tumblr girls who idolize the Columbine shooters or the /pol/ anons who think Breivik did nothing wrong.

He wanted to kill people. Even if he didn't get a gun, chances are he would have either tried building a bomb, buying a knife somewhere to stab people with, or just running over random people with his car in a crowded area. Even if they went in and banned guns, that doesn't mean some mentally ill person is not going to find other ways to kill as many random people as possible.

The only thing that could have helped was therapy and mental healthcare. Everything from his cold blank stare in his manifesto to the fact he was gender confused screams that he had some massive problems, and that's without even taking a look at his plans to shoot up his job.
 
Okay, so when he got the part time job at McDonalds (right after he graduated being under 18), he quit three hours into his shift. And that's where his hatred for his father stemmed from.

Close friends and family probably didn't expect this to happen in the first place. These people hide their problems so well, or if they don't, people don't take them seriously until something horrible happens and they go on a killing spree.

Can we also add to that:

- Kip Kinkel was a gun nut who kept sperging about guns to anyone who's listen (mostly his shrink).

- Michael Ryan was obsessed with being Rambo despite being a borderline exceptional unemployable.

- Anders Breivik was that guy who shouts about immigrants in pubs

Thing is, though, for every genuine mass shooter there's a thousand other edgelords who post screeching atsimu all over the internets. Sorting the ones who will generally make a run at the high score from the rest is rather tricky.
