So when Trump does it then it’s bad but when communists do it it’s a tool to help the people. Also, libertarians see the state as intrusive to life no matter which retard claims to help them.

Isn’t that the fault of the other retarded countries that they are such a shithole that the best place to live in is your idea of the greatest dystopia?
YouTube comments are the lowest form of discourse, and I say this as someone who 20 years ago used to argue with people on the official Comcast forums

An HHS, Labor, and Education Appropriations bill, which is quietly about to be passed by Congress, includes a section discussing about providing nearly $11 billion in welfare for immigrants from both the House and Senate.

So we're just going to sweep this under the rug? The GOP is literally giving $11 BILLION to third worlders and we're just not going to make any noise about it?

Cap it at $2,000 dollars per family, you watch those babies stop coming.
No, we need to incentivize white birth rates. Increase the tax credit, but make it non-refundable instead. The only way you get the credit is if you're already paying taxes so you can't just be a bum subsisting off the subsidy.

If you get more used to Heinlein’s temperament, it’s not that he was invested in the concept of specifically veteran lead future societies, though I think at that point in his career he would’ve supported the idea, but more of an exploration of the maxim “the value of a thing is what you’re willing to pay for it.”

That’s one of his sort of core premises

Heinlein’s entire sci fi wheelhouse, his territory in the genre, was more about speculative culture and philosophy than tech. His later works trended towards somewhat hardass, somewhat libertarian characters asserting independence from clueless bureaucratic societies that held them back from being total badasses
Heinlein's idea of citizenship in the Terran Federation was also more about only those who have proven investment and willing to die for the system get to partake in the system. It's just that military service was the most direct way to prove it.

The concern (in-world) was freeloaders voting for bad decisions because they had no stake in the system.

Of course shitlibs see anything that's 100% minority run "democracy" as "fascism" and are antithetical to the idea of some civilizations being just fundamentally incompatible with one another.

The real fantasy of starship troopers is, "what if the government was competent and run for the good of normal people?" It is a forbidden text because the powers that be know they're held up mostly by inertia and a perceived lack of options.

It's the same reason that anytime a country tires to do third position or social-nationalism stuff they get triangulated on by the entire planet.

What we really need to do is stop spending bazillions of dollars, stop importing bazillions of cheap labor, and tell corporations their options are either hire Americans and pay them more or relocate to shithole countries. Make corporate tax rates low enough so corporations won't relocate to Europe.

Ask yourself how feeding kids costs over 250 million dollars and how no one could see the padding and the legal system doesnt want to punish them.
It's going to come out that more children were enrolled in these programs than exist in the entire state. I'm surprised nobody has run the numbers yet.

Reckon you want to pay $15,000 dollars for a new iPhone? Because that's how much it would cost if we made it over here without all the slave labor.

Yes.

And then lower and/or abolish income taxes.

Verhoeven removed all of the philosophical parts and satirized the surface view to make the original content look stupid and fascist, and then apparently helldivers took that and padded it out with a bunch of background dystopia tropes
All the factions in Helldivers 1 are basically satirical examinations of how Super Earth uses propaganda to justify itself.

-The Illuminate were peaceful hyper-advanced big brains and Super Earth accused them of having WMD's, genocided them and stole all their tech. The justification? Well they use mind control tech and have superweapons, so they can't be trusted.

-The Cyborgs were just normal human workers that had to use robot bits to survive the harsh environments they worked in and Super Earth decided that because they weren't 100% human they had no rights and just enslaved them all. The justifcation? Well they're communist revolutionaries who bombed civilians, they don't deserve rights.

-The Terminids were just normal bugs that happened to produce an element called E-710 (OIL upside down lewl) which makes FTL travel possible, so naturally Super Earth industrialized the fuck out of them and started breeding them to be bigger and make more oil and kept them in farms. Super Earth then started using "breakouts" to kill dissidents, but then they started actually escaping and breeding like crazy to the point they took over entire planets.
The justification? Well, we need the oil or else our entire empire can't function.

Helldivers 2 is 100 years later and is basically the same but now with the added bonus of how violence and injustice begets violence and injustice, so now all the other factions are just as bad as Super Earth and love genocide.

Verhoeven literally didn't read the book. He said he read the first chapter and stopped because he "knows fascism when he sees it" and just made shit up from there.

Why the fuck would I want an iPhone if it costs $15K? I'm already thinking about downgrading to a dumb phone. This would just cement it.

@harmy.kook Made a Happenings thread for Somalian fraud.
Please give me some more info for it, the OP is pretty barebones right now.

It looks almost like a mafia-esque tax the criminals structure where the Somalis at the top of the fraud kicked our tax dollars up to the Dems, who avoided investigating it and ignored whistle blowers.

Edit: No, it's worse. At least the mafia generates wealth off of profitable ventures. These politicians just toss bales of tax grants down to their fraudsters, who launder them their cut while producing nothing of value.
