Unlike the Ayotallah, he cared about his people welfare.

I mean Iran under the Shah was an autocratic monarchic regime, yes, but so is Jordan or Thailand, currently - not saying that atrocities, corruption and human rights violations didn't happen but on the scale culminating in stuff like Stalinist Soviet Union, Chinese Cultural Revolution or Red Khmer Cambodia, Iran was rather tame and stable, with a population of intellectuals/artists and lots of liberties akin to western countries.

Like ideally ofc one would have free elections, freedom of speech, equality etc, but not every country can operate that way sadly and its western rose tinted glasses that think cultural/religious background/history don't matter at all and people would openly embrace all western values.
 
The shah conducted liberal reforms unimaginable to the hellhole the nation became. He also had a healthy fear of his reputation both internally and internationally. Understandable that a tankie mongoloid like Hasan would hate this, as this was done for the cause of national civics and not repressive communism, and Anus & I are presumably parroting his talking points without understanding why.
