I mean, it's not really that surprising - while Meghan does indeed care immensely about appearances; she's also fucking delusional and has no real idea about aesthetics or what suits her specifically. She often tries to carry off styles that mimic things that looked amazing on either Diana or Catherine, who were/are both long-limbed and thin but athletic, but look frankly ridiculous on Meghan because she has a completely different body type. But because she's a narc she refuses to believe she doesn't know better than literally everyone else at all times, so she doesn't take needed advice on dressing for a short-to-average height woman with chicken legs and a torso like a Lego brick. She has looked at her best in life when dressed by other people (see: her stint on Suits), but her ego won't allow it. No doubt she just assumes the same for her kids, as an extension of her own ego.

Recall that this woman refused to wear hats on formal outings with the late Queen, outdoors, on windswept British days, ending up with her hair looking like this: (and frankly worse in some shots I've seen but couldn't find)

It's not that much of a stretch to believe her kids scarcely know what a hairbrush is. You think Harry is on top of day-to-day personal care? I'm just surprised/hopeful someone's brushing their teeth.

It's not just the hair. Look at her body language. That's totally a child who would rather be left alone to play. Meghan has that pose that says "please smile for mom" because she wasn't smiling. Unlike the other royal kids, she perhaps doesn't feel too comfortable with cameras.

Meanwhile, Archie (who seems like he looks a lot like Harry) is happy to be there with dad and he's more natural.

The big difference Meggie is forgetting is when her photo was taken, Diana was a teenaged ingenue who was on her way to being the next Queen. Meg is a middle-aged, divorced/remarried, former yacht “entertainer” desperate to keep her name in the news after marrying an irrelevant prince.

I mean, it worked, since we’re talking about it… but the general public sure doesn’t seem to give a wet slap.

Kate has a similar photo too, but it was an accident with a lace dress. Diana's pic was specifically a photoshoot with two kids when she was a teacher and it was also an accident. Here, Meghan has full control of the situation and she's done this in purpose. Gosh, what an obnoxious human being.

They burn all of the interest on Harry's trust fund plus approximately $5mil / year they've been siphoning from their former foundation - and this doesn't include their unpaid legal bills, which are mounting all the time as they sue the King's government nonstop.

Harry had a 24/7 tard wrangler with him when he worked for the family. He was assigned a rota of protection officers / baby sitters who accompanied him everywhere; he described his relationship with his put-upon tard wranglers in his book. Dumb as Harry is, even he realized that his wranglers were exasperated with him.

Since Harry and Meghan departed from the UK in 2019, Harry has been sans a family-provided wrangler - his new wrangler is Meghan, who is very bad at running him as she isn't much smarter than Harry. Harry has made offers to return to his family, but only if they apologize (what for, no one knows) to Haz and Spaz publicly and give them Royal Lodge gratis (Andrew's old 120 room digs) and never make them do anything boring, like visit nursing homes or open hospitals. Obviously, no one has been missing the Sussexes and so this "offer" is a lunatic pipe dream.

I don't think they would. Harry's gone pretty far out of his way to personally offend the current and next monarchs, far beyond what he could plausibly blame on "Muh Wife".

As for the kids, I'm sure there would be no ill will, but unless this happened really soon it'd probably be too late to raise them as British aristocrats and have them fit in with the rest of the family.

Doubtful. They're Meghan's children, and she would raise hell accusing the British royal family of kidnapping "black" (one drop rule) children. The kids are her toe hold into the royal family, and as such the family cannot risk close contact with the kids because she'd shake private family information out of them one way or another, or sell access to her kods and their cousins, or any number of other unsavory things.

Meghan was already sneaking around the Wales' old apartment taking photos of Charlotte's bedroom before she got married, there's no telling what she'd get up to if her kids were accepted back into the royal fold. Which is why the family is never accepting her or the children back in, ever.

They might take Harry back after a divorce, but only for him to be banished to some far-flung royal property with tard wranglers and a strict agreement that he is never to participate in public life again where he can't make trouble, like Andrew.

They could assign him as the governor of the British Virgin Islands, just a pity that the Bahamas declared independence as that would have really twisted the knife in.

Maybe I’m just talking out of my ass here but I get the distinct feeling that if Meghan could wake up one morning and just BE Catherine, she would.

Only thing is she doesn’t have an ounce of the grace, elegance and charm that Catherine does and never will. EDIT: and humility. Everything I’ve ever heard about Catherine is that she’s very unassuming and unpretentious.
