And just what monopoly was Russ referring to? There are no brothels in Winnemucca, his or otherwise. Thus there is no monopoly there for him to bust. In fact, if he somehow managed to open one there then HE would have a monopoly. He really doesn't think this shit out.

Rusty might have had something if he just focused on Gilman and his seat on the board of the county that issues brothel permits. If his framing of the situation is correct, then it does bring into question an inherent conflict of interest.

The fact that the good people of Nevada have capped brothels because they don't want them in their area for a litany of reasons does not constitute as a business monopoly. Its not beholden to the same antitrust laws that rodent mouth claims. The public has already supported a limit on them meaning that theres no monopoly to even exist. If the public cared that much about brothels, then issue limiting them would have died in legislation or at the ballot box.

I got lazy and asked Grok for some stats. There are only 19-21 brothels operating as of 2025 with it peaking at only 34 in the 1980s. No ones sperging about the lack of cum-stained motels to have sex except Russ. They're not an essential service like a grocery store or pharmacy, or vehicle repair facility. Though with this newfound information, the fact that it didn't reach 40 is pathetic. You could probably get more signatures and votes by capping it at zero and forcing all brothels to close.
