I think gay men are "overrepresented" in stuff like high fashion because they're interested in it and have the ambition and drive of a male, plus many do not have families for obvious reasons so their career choices are not impeded by that. Which is a big factor, especially historically, many of them lived like eternal bachelors so they could throw themselves into their careers. Even today when it's possible to get married and adopt or do surrogacy the vast majority of don't choose to.

Trannies that make it big in stuff like tech seem to be of the tistic variety.

Again, I'm not sure I understand. In what way is being gay a 'trust me' identity? Historically any man who was gay had extremely strong incentives to deny it, not admit to it. And I can barely think of any reason at all for a straight man to to pretend he was gay.

And I don't even mean there can be no reasons for a man to submit to same-sex advances from a more powerful man. I don't doubt there were a lot of guys who were not gay who let Kevin Spacey molest them in order to get ahead. But they didn't have to pretend to be gay?

I don't know what a 'true homosexual' is. I've also never found a reason to doubt that a man who consistently seeks out other men for sexual encounters, is gay.

I find it hard to believe that schizophrenia causes people to be better at STEM.

But, even if it were the case that other traits associated with gayness caused the success, I'm not sure how that detracts from what I've said? If gay men have the personalities that cause them to be more successful, how is that not associated with them being gay?

If I said 'women are better at fashion', would you have any good reason to deny it and then say 'lol'? But why shouldn't women be? Women are genetically and socially different to men.

Why? Jews might have connections. Jews are the 'ingroup' for other, powerful Jews. But, that can explain some of their success but not all of it. Jewish people are literally just higher-IQ, and achieve more per capita, than the rest of the population. Not every Jew. But enough to produce extraordinary talent.

You know what else I believe? Jews are less physically gifted in terms of athletic prowess. That's why there's a gag in Airplane! (written and directed by Jews) where a passenger asks if there's any 'light' reading material and the stewardess says 'I have a pamphlet on Jewish sporting achievements'.

I just don't see that. In America people are more tribalistic with race than anything. It's why growing up in schools we see everyone self segregate to their own race. In prison it's the same. In work it's the same. I can't fathom blacks being less tribal than gays.

I dont know the history of many gay designers to argue this well. I just know of Versace who got to the top insanely quick but that seemed to have been from taking over his mothers small boutique in Italy after he was a seamstress for her for years. I'm not knowledable about other gay designers so maybe i'm wrong there but it would seem to me it would be a lot harder to have a type of gay alliance in the world of fashion since brands directly compete with one another.

Id have to disagree there for sure. I think this feels like the "If it were that easy, everyone would do it". Like to the first guy who you're replying to bringing up Liz Dong. He stands out because he is extremely succsssful in his field. There's not exactly a ton of him out there. I think by definition one has to have a higher level of intellect to be at that level unless you literally inherited your job and money from parents.

The likely reason they are there isn't cause of their "biological drive" or whatever but likely A) no pressure to pursue family so can pursue passions B) women feel safer near fags so models less likely to be sexually assaulted/get pregnant C) a lot of gay dudes had female friends/grew accostomed to female social dynamics D) access to hot dudes. Then you take in that most of them are located in the richest, faggiest state (California) + following typical business ventures that men do. It's hardly intelligence as the fashion world is mostly full of the dumbest retards imaginable profitting off self-hating, insecure broads n' whatever new brainless trend is going on. Occasionally good designers =/= all, this is just popularity bias. Also, every human has triabalistic tendencies, it came with the cooperative evolution. F) Any sympathy afforded from the pooner to her mother's suffering and grief is blindsided by her own narcississm. Yeah it’s this. Men are more likely to develop passionate, deep hobbies and niche careers. There’s a famous quote from the feminist Paglia that the reason there’s no female Mozart is the same reason there’s no female Jack the Ripper - obsession is mostly a male trait. Add into that the historical lack of time spent creating family and gay men’s predisposition for having a clinical diagnosis of narcissism which values looks and ego. It makes sense why gay men would dominate fashion and art, just like straight men dominate sports fandom and guns, and troons dominate sexualizing children and modding discord.
