The $21 billion dollar gen-1 version of this helmet (L) was canceled due to causing motion sickness (L) and soldiers generally hating it.

However, moving your soldiers around like RTS units is too attractive to the vampires in charge to give up on. Like in most dystopian sci-fi stories, I imagine they will come up with drugs or brain alterations to manage the human factors involved.

2: I only worry how rugged the sensors are. It’s not a big deal though, because if a nuclear flash would burn them out, they’d burn out your eyes too, and at least you’d still have your eyes, unless you ate so many gammas you’d die anyway

Bonus trivia: nukes are close to useless in space. Even for EMP purposes, they’d need a magnetic field to interact with

Since vacuum is vacuum, there’s no medium to facilitate a blast wave. You’d just have a bright light and a burst of radiation
