Autumn, this may shock you, but you are posting on a public forum. People are going to be giving unsolicited advice and opinions, especially if you're a big artist. It's something that comes with the territory of being popular, and the fact you've been an online artist as long as you have and have as many followers as you do, yet still don't understand this, is baffling.

More than anything, I'm curious who she's talking about because the way this is worded makes it seem like she's annoyed on someone else's behalf.
BrujoAri recently posted a redraw of two of their OCs, and because they're so popular, there were obviously a lot of reactions towards it, including people jokingly lamenting certain design changes. The reason I suspect it could be related to them is because Autumn actually made an extremely similar post in the past where she was obviously talking about BrujoAri and their OC, Kate. Iykyk

Keep in mind that BrujoAri is currently making an animated web-series with these characters, the trailer and voice-actors have already been revealed, so this technically is something being made for consumption rather than simply being "personal art".

You can rate me autistic since this is total speculation on my part, and whether or not I'm right it doesn't really mean anything. But I do think it's funny that Autumn is obviously jealous of and a big fan of Ari's, and probably wishes she could be their friend, but since she can't, she has to resort to white-knighting for them from afar.

Brujo is actually infamous for constantly overexplaining everything about her story/ocs in response to criticism and has changed her character designs a bajillion times in the past 2 years in a shitty attempt to make everybody in her fanbase happy. People are always bitching at her about her characters skintones or how she handles the trans characters and shes very sensitive to this and tries desperately to appease these people (it never works and they always find something else to complain about). Now that i think about it, shes actually incredibly similar to pup in the way they both love to make a bajillion posts blabbing about their art process and how they both hamfist ~*representation*~ into it lmao.

Huh, I can't say I've noticed since I mainly just pay attention to her art and like it if I see it in my feed. I know they lore dump a bunch, but I don't tend to really read it. Imo, I don't think it's a problem to overexplain your OCs lore if it's relevant and actually well thought out. Especially if it's supplemented by comics and art (show not tell and all that). Autumn's "lore" when she bothers to give any is extremely shallow and inconsistent, and she barely shows any of it through visuals.

I'll admit a lot of their recent design choices have been questionable, and I personally really dislike the redraw, but I don't think having a chubby character or an FTM character or a character who realizes they're trans later in life is super unrealistic or hamfisted. Maybe Ari does have cowish behavior, but I've never seen them publicly crash out or suicide-bait their fans, and they were even kind enough to tell their audience not to bully kids who people thought were "stealing" their art style. So for that, I have to give them a lot more points than Autumn

Then what does she want from how people consume her art? She gushes on and on about how much she adores representation and how much she boasts about how diverse and inclusive her characters are in depicting non-passing black trans men, but they’re often times depicted in fetish scenarios. She reposts fanart made about her characters and seven sexualizes/objectifies her OCs in ways actual transphobes can only dream about, but at the same time she demands that nobody sexualizes her OCs because she expects the gooner art she draws of them to be normalized. She views drawing art as an obligation rather than any actual care or passion, and she clearly despises her own audience given that she spits into their mouths when pressed with the subject of her drawing their characters or taking commission work

In short, Autumn’s only audience is for herself and herself alone. The audience she’s cultivated is akin to a tumor festering on her social media accounts, who are only there to give her validation and make her feel more important than she actually is because she has never learned when to have some humility over her own work. Which is why she’s adamant on embracing the worst parts of online kink culture and defending actual predators and upcoming horrorcows

I don't know how she has the mental wherewithal to be packing yet also bitching about utterly useless shit. Most of the time when I see artists preparing for a move, they make it clear that art may slow down due to their supplies/drawing area being unusable or simply not having the time to do anything. Packing and moving is a fucking nightmare by itself and somehow I doubt the girl that was "too anxious" to report her mom's "physical abuse" over the phone is able to get together boxes/packing shit, a UHaul, and moving expenses all by herself.

I wouldn't doubt her "move" is more just her family relocating rather than her trying to make active changes to her life; it would explain why she's been so vague about it and doesn't seem excited or happy by the prospect of finally moving away from her "abusive" mom. You'd think she'd bother to express joy over one thing, but why would she do that when she can whine about the audience she curated.

If this was an argument made by someone who does artistic nudity for a living and paints bodily imperfections in a way that looks aesthetically pleasing, I can definitely kind of understand. But this isn’t an artist who draws non-sexual nudity. This is PuppyChan/WolferTinger666: a fatfur gooner/trans chaser who wants nothing to actually do with the trans experience/pick-me Oreo whose neurons have been fried after years of constant porn addiction and unrealistic depictions of heteronormative stereotypes to the point where she boasts about how the E621 fetish drawings she makes are somehow “representative of real people who totally exist”. Truth is, she likes the rush. She likes getting mad and moody, and deleting her art even if there are a bunch of complements because a legion of fans WILL come and rescue her from her bad feelings. If she deletes it because she was "feeling very insecure rn guys im sorry i cant preform," a flood of "OH SALEM ITS OK WE LOVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT BUMNYBOY" come in. If she deletes it because of her haters, she gets the rush of being mad or feigning suicidal thoughts so she gets the doublerush of bullying/dogpiling someone mean to her and asspats. The bullying part is so attractive because it is a giant rush of adrenaline chemicals where she can let out her rage in a socially acceptable matter instead of... deal with things like a human being and get thrills elsewhere. The excitement of defeating an enemy is that important.

Word for word, she said that "at a certain point some comments do become really objectifying" but never elaborates on what this point is, or gives any indication as to what kinds of comments cross the line for her.
Basically, according to Autumn, she finds it super validating and confidence-boosting when people thirst over her fursona, but only to a very particular extent, and what the extent is, she won't tell you.

I can at the very least agree that drawing someone's OC in a sexual situation without their consent is creepy, but that isn't what she said, that's an entirely different situation than people making comments about your fursona.
