Didn't see much of a thread regarding all the fine antics of Portland and the people who live there, so I thought to make one.

Lesbian bar shuts down one week after opening because they weren't woke enough

Doc Marie’s is a lesbian bar that opened on July 1st of this year with the hope of bringing more inclusivity to the city of Portland. But just one week after their grand opening they were forced to shut down because of complaints that the bar was not a “safe space.” Similar to the story I wrote a few weeks ago about the queer-owned cafe in Philadelphia that was shut down by employees for not being woke enough, Doc Marie’s was cannibalized by the woke mob.

The crowd on opening day was huge. One woman said that the line for entry on opening night was “wrapped around the block” with “literally 200 lesbians” waiting to get in.

But the excitement about a new progressive hangout dissipated quickly. Within days, Doc Marie’s found itself on the receiving end of accusations of not being inclusive enough for trans people and people of color. Despite mask mandates being lifted in Portland, patrons accused the bar of not implementing enough COVID safety measures. Patrons also claimed that Doc Marie’s had “culturally appropriative art” on the walls.
One TikToker, who says she attended the grand opening, breaks down the accusations against the bar:

Employees of Doc Marie’s created an Instagram page to echo these concerns. They claimed that the owners weren’t proactive enough in creating a safe space and accused the owners of racism. The employees also demanded that the bar host “free opportunities for education” for the community.

Eventually, the employees demanded the owners relinquish ownership of the bar and hand the business to them. The owners were given a “24-hour deadline” to adhere to the ludicrous demands.

Just five days after opening, the bar announced on July 6th that they had to close temporarily in order to address the cries from the woke mob for a “safe and inclusive space.”

Surrendering to the woke mob doesn’t appear to be working out in Doc Marie’s favor, as the bar remains closed with no public plan to reopen.

For fans of shitty beer* in the PNW, you now have one fewer to choose from.
Apparently Rogue Ales closed their brewery in Newport, same city as above. As well as restaurants around the state.

Saved for posterity from their website:

Imagine going out for a pint and seeing a photo of an old naked woman in the bar. Still thirsty?

Talked to my friend who was at the Newport airport today and he said he saw a couple trucks with US Government plates loading containers onto trailers to haul away. He also spoke to some old-timers who said they had heard that the containers had all the contents of the Coast Guard building in them. Apparently also a big trash dumpster.

Looks like Newport is getting ICE. Still rather have those jobs closer to home, but then again that county did elect a trans commissioner, so they deserve it.

The government should open an ICE camp in every town/city that elects a Tranny...... mutually assured destruction.

I have been sent an alleged dashcam screenshot.

Those do indeed appear to be trucks with containers on them.

We've had it up to here with the Federal Government wanting to bring good paying jobs to our town.

There are other towns in the PNW who would kill for those sorts of jobs. But I suspect at this point DHS is going to continue in Newport if for no other reason than to piss off the locals.

Which is still a good reason.

The stupidest fucking thing is that nobody ever fought this hard for any other cause within my lifetime. Maybe they fought this hard against the Vietnam war, I don't know, I wasn't there. These people are absolutely hysterical over freeloading beaners, willing to ignore any facts or reason. All I can think is America would be a much better place today if they had cared half as much about job exportation, overseas outsourced slave labor, education costs, healthcare costs, housing costs, anything. But it's the spics. The spics are the one thing they finally care about.
Serious question has any group outside of white liberals in the US and Europe in recorded history protested and rioted to keep violent illegal criminals in their nation? What bizarre times we live in. It's all driven by self loathing and self hatred. White leftists have been thoroughly brainwashed to believe they are responsible for the sins of their ancestors and whatever brown people want to do they get to do because of slavery. It is a civilization destroying ideology and must be disenfranchised. Broken miserable losers who want to drag everyone down with them.

Apparently the city of Hillsboro, suburb of Portland, better known as Hillsburrito, has declared an emergency due to law enforcement doing their jobs. I guess the risks to taco truck staffing and availability of day labor at Home Depot was too high.

HILLSBORO, Ore. (KPTV) - The Hillsboro City Council unanimously declared a state of emergency during a public hearing on Tuesday, condemning “the misuse of immigration enforcement to detain and deport individuals who are lawfully present in the United States.”

The resolution takes effect immediately.

The decision follows the highly publicized detainment of Hillsboro resident Victor Cruz, who was released from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody after an alleged mistaken detention.

Mayor Beach Pace said the declaration is largely symbolic and meant to encourage action, something residents have increasingly demanded.

The move comes two weeks after a council meeting that included more than three hours of testimony from business owners, advocates and children urging the city to respond to growing ICE activity.

Among those who spoke was Bridget Cooke, co-founder and executive director of Adelante Mujeres, which works primarily with low-income Latina women and families. Cooke said during this time of uncertainty in immigrant communities, her organization is also providing “know-your-rights” education and post-detention support.

“It’s heartbreaking to see how cruel the implications are for families who are terrified to go out, they’re terrified to go to doctors’ appointments, they’re terrified to go to work,” Cooke said.

Since the Nov. 4 meeting, the city has set aside $200,000 in new community grant funding for families and businesses affected by federal immigration enforcement. But community members continue to push for additional measures, particularly involving local police.

During Tuesday’s meeting, Brookwood Elementary School counselor Adrienne Smith described how school staff have been helping immigrant families who are afraid to leave their homes.

“We as educators are creating safe spaces for folks to get groceries and doing grocery shopping for families as ICE is hiding in grocery store parking lots,” Smith said.

In a work session, councilors reviewed several proposals, including the creation of a civil and human rights office and a plan to track detained residents and affected families in partnership with community organizations.

City councilors are expected to continue discussing the proposals.

I nurture a hope in my breast that JD Vance had his heart broken by someone from the PNW and his hate grew and grew and his entire political career has been to position himself to push the region's shit in

God I hope so. The more I hear people cry about how terrible the country is getting, and how fascists are taking over etc. I just look around and think "I wish a nigga would". Get the feds in to crack some agitator/criminal/junkie skulls and haul them off to penal colonies for a while, and while they're at it thump anyone spray-painting that godawful graffiti around.

Went back to Portland for the first time in several months. Rose City Antifa is now putting up posters that are essentially full doxes of Homeland security federal agents. Photo, full name and sometimes address. Many of these will be on the same telephone pole as "THE ONLY GOOD NAZIS ARE DEAD NAZIS" graffiti. Just literally openly inciting murder towards federal officers and nothing is being done about it. One of them even had a full badge number and cross hair by it. I would post photos because I documented all of this but for my own security I'm going to refrain from doing so. The "KILL FASCIST" shit is everywhere too I walked through 3 different neighborhoods and it was in every one. To say Portland is a hotbed of political extremism would be a gross understatement. This is going to get someone killed and something needs to be done about it by law enforcement.

Finally some motion in Retards(Newport) v Coast Guard.
The retards have made their official motion for injunction. The interesting part is the gov response is due tomorrow. Which might be the first official word seen as to why the helicopter was moved.
There are a couple fun bits, like this:
2025-12-04_13-27.png
In talking to people who live out there apparently the helicopter was never there 24x7, it was swapped with a different one from its home base every 2 days so it could be maintained since apparently the facility in Newport has minimal maintenance capabilities as it requires hugely expensive tooling and couldn't justify a full time mechanic there either. In reading the documents it appears during the summer months it was only there holidays and weekends anyway for the last few years.
The more funny bit is if you require the helicopter to be at the base 24x7, how does it rescue anyone?

I may not be the brightest bulb in the set, but I have to think that advertising when and where illegals would be gathering in your city may not be the best idea.

In a move designed to incense Portlanders, and probably being done in many other cities, CBP has put out this video:

So, apparently the State of Oregon has amended their helicopter lawsuit against DHS to add the ICE detention facility to the helicopter lawsuit.

The problem is that unlike the helicopter there has been nothing except rumors of ICE. I checked with my friend who sent me the picture up-thread of the airport and he says it's all been quiet, and construction was rumored to begin December 15th.

It's really funny how little it takes to get the state government to waste a bunch of money on lawyers. And apparently several counties are declaring a "state of emergency" against ICE doing their job, and wasting still more taxpayer money to help the families of illegals.

Suffer Oregon.

P.S. DHS, if the Oregon thing doesn't work out, may I suggest Lewiston for a nice big airport or Idaho County for a smaller airport. Both about 300 miles from Portland but the rumors I've heard were you just want to be within 350 miles.

In continuing funny. The City of Newport's mayor has not only put out a video but the city also filed a lawsuit against DHS.

Considering the shit economy in Oregon, and especially the coast I can't imagine turning away free money. ICE employees make significantly more than illegals and always pay taxes.

I hope, for maximum funny, they really do put an ICE facility on the property, I might have to fly out and check it out once weather improves.
