Ahhh, denial. The first step towards recovery is admitting you have a problem.

You know how he tried to project an image of himself as a super successful man with a big adult house, serious adult business, and a full-time girlfriend to make others (particularly his fans and detractors) envious of him? Now that his full-time girlfriend dumped him and his serious adult business is failing miserably, that big adult house of his is the only thing he has left to give him some image of success. To sell it and move back to Connecticut would utterly shatter that image, so he'll live there as long as he can in order to save his ego and vanity.

All of this is particularly humorous considering the only reason he is able to stay in that Hughes-esque seclusion is Patreon and Twitch donations.
Anybody with a semblance of independence can see right through his facade of a guy out there making it on his own with his "business."
 
Went back to watch his "Use Your Words" stream before he announced the breakup, and some of the answers in it made DSP look like he was on the verge of tears.

No, but people were able to find out what it was by checking DMV records.

Phil's new car is a 2017 Toyota Corolla.

I have to give Phil a little credit here cause it is a proper downsize, but I can't give him any more kudos than that because he bought it brand new.
