The show should be starting soon. I still don't care, if they announce something big or some controversial game gets picked I will hear about it tomorrow anyways. Waste of time to watch the stream. Have fun, I guess, if you're sticking around.
 
What is fucking gay is the best Fighting Game category. Remasters and collections, an unfinished game and a game that is dead. Riot is just receiving a free award for a game that they haven’t even finished

I'm here to say that Clair Obscur was extremely mediocre and that it is the pinnacle of thing stupid people think is smart. If you are retarded and have never thought about art past the point of consumption then yeah I'm sure this is your game of the year. It's 2025 and 30 year olds are blown away by the concept that art is both a window and a mirror. Fuck me.

I hope Dorito Pope has fun spending more time reading off ads than actually giving out awards.

Naw the art people can get as pretentious as they want about it, the system mechanics and gameplay were phenomenal, pictos just mog so many other equipment systems it’s a great RPG.
 
So what's going to be the copium that Death Stranding 2 doesn't win GOTY? Is it going to be somehow Sony restrained Kojima? Is it Konami's fault still? Because "everyone" is waiting on the PC release? What goal post position are we in this go around with this fag?

Well the Marvel moofies have been taking a shit for years. But it doesn't seem to affect the game (((industry)))

Probably Silksong? I haven't played either of the Kingdom Come games yet so I can't speak to those. Silksong's story is okay but I really enjoyed the art, music, and I thought the gameplay was excellent besides needing a some tweaks.

Honestly if Silksong added a style meter like DMC I think the point of its combat would have been communicated a lot more clearly. I don't think it would have been a good addition, but I think Silksong's main flaw is that it communicated what was different about it from Hollow Knight (which was very substantial) extremely poorly. However I think the thing it does is really well executed.

I don't think Silksong is literally a spectacle fighter but in terms of your mindset, juggling many enemies while improvising how to do so with your moveset, they're quite similar.

It's not my favourite game this year but I do think it deserves GOTY
