I don't think it's going to go well for them if they try. Haven't there been stories recently of media company workers organizing, only for the whole publication to shut down not long afterward? Post-Adpocalypse, I don't know how well big channels do on ad revenue, but with however many staff they have working across multiple channels, they might not be raking in the dough enough to spare. Mat got out while the going was good, and now the new owners have to deal with the aftermath.

I think he's just trying to wring every last dollar he can get out of these things, considering how broke he is. I mean, yeah, just the image of this fucking guy who just last week was having an existential crisis because he had no money to fix his computer talking down on billionaires as incompetent twits is hilarious enough, but that isn't the weird part of all this.
Look, I'm not going to lick on billionaires' balls here, and I'm not under any impression that guys like Sam Altman or Elon Musk are any sort of generational geniuses; they are just businessmen, sure, successful ones, but what they've accomplished doesn't warrant any sort of reverence.
But they have achieved success. I mean, it's fine to like them or say they suck like Robert does, but also Robert seems delusional when it comes to their competency, acting as if guys like Altman are drooling troglodytes, and that is just because he is behind a product he doesn't like.
And that isn't the case at all; Sam Altman has been a very successful entrepreneur, managing investing funding for tons of enterprises that are still going strong. Yeah, he sounds like a dullard in interviews, and I doubt he has any real sort of tech knowledge, but then again, like I said, he is just a businessman who needs to sell pitches to other businessmen.
But Robert seems to have this viral hatred and insists that people he doesn't like are just idiots who, by luck or privilege, landed on a fortune, when... no.
And Robert, wanting to spill his bile, ends up saying stupid things, like Altman not surviving "the real business world," when he has been doing that for more than 10 years.
And what the fuck does a fatass that still lives with his mom know about "the real business world"?
I get that couch quarterbacking can be fun, and if you want to heckle from the peanut gallery, yeah, go for it, but at the same time a little bit of introspection doesn't hurt.
Sure, you can say these rich guys suck, and they probably do; fuck 'em. But at the end of the day we all know who is banging supermodels on a yacht and who is masturbating to .jpgs.
