You see this shit all over the US. Lots of modern day teachers keep pushing literal skill points. What the fuck does 4/5 in Photoshop mean? At least if you wrote "intermediate" it's wishy-washy and you can sort of talk your way out of it. I remember a Destiny 2 dev blowing a fuse on Twitter about all the applications they got where they'd list 3 programming languages with skill points.
