I didn't see it, watch any trailers, and don't know anything about it at all, but I think this is what happened with that demon hunter anime movie recently that went box office gangbusters. All the tawk I saw about it was like "wow, this is like a straightforward good movie! we never see that anymore"
I agree in theory but in practice if people can't get work in these fields doing the job in the traditional way then they're not gonna learn how to do them in the traditional way. People need a financial incentive to spend thousands of hours getting good at a trade and at this point I'd sooner advise a kid to learn plumbing than anything involving data or computers.
The closest we have to something like that is frieren and if you know anything about that show is that the Redditors didn’t like certain parts of that series because it didint go for the obvious subversive trope

One might argue that's more or less what we got with K-Pop Demon Hunters. Three cute, hetero girls singing songs and fighting objectively evil bad guys while also swooning over bad boys. People were so friggin' starved for even that meagre a skeleton of a "normal" storyline that it got a full theatrical release and broke records. And this shit was cliched already way back when Sailor Moon was a thing.
I'm not even sure she can beat talarico in the primary. He's not super well known yet, but he's a young rising star, and he's very likable. Him vs crockett's ghetto ass is the fight for the future of the democratic party. As a right wing guy he worries me, I would like nothing more than them proving yet again reasonable decent people have no place in that party.

Unfortunately, nobody can really organize to "do" anything, because the full force of the US security state cracks down on anything right-wing. We don't have anything like the Sturmabteilung in Weimar. I guess the Proud Boys were close to that back in 2016 but they got smashed. Leftoids have national terror cell networks; meanwhile rightoids get life-ruined over a small riot in the capitol, their chats get infiltrated by FBI agents entrapping them, their compounds get burned down by the ATF, etc

She'll get the black vote which is pretty sizable in Texas, she'll get most of the progressive vote, and some moderate votes (moderates who want someone more fiery against Trump). Talarico will get most of the moderate vote (wanting their heckin' wholesome politics back, lol) and some of the progressive vote (those of them smart enough to realize he's their best choice). The question will be who the spic Democrats vote for.
