Something other than tweeting would be a good start lol. Why is it any time I expect a member of this administration to do something other than tweet, sign a strongly worded letter, or post a meme, everyone gets bent out of shape at me? For starters, tell them that if they keep advancing values directly contrary to those of America, we will pull NATO support from them, since they are all so scared of Russia; why the hell would we want to be allied with people who despise our way of life?
The VP doesn't have the power to pull out of NATO. That's up to Trump, though I agree we should have pulled out of it on the first day since Europe deserves to rot.

Just say they're inferior to you. There are also plenty of high paying jobs that require presence with inflexible hours, though.
I don't think they're inferior, I believe those sorts of jobs should pay well enough to either support either a family of four or a Boomhauer-style bachelor existence, as they used to. The problem is these are always the guys who get upset because society can't be filled with blue collar jobs. Someone has to work with the computer to ensure things stay operational, and that really doesn't require office space most of the time. How much you sweat, how dirty you get or how long you have to leave the house shouldn't dictate wages.
Well what is your solution?
Completely ending H-1B, off-shoring and similar contrivances so we can import immigrants during an employment crisis is a good start.

Man, if only he was the vice president instead of some normalfag like me, then he could go talk to Trump! Unfortunately, Curry Vance is just some guy with no power or influence to speak of, what a shame. Guess all he can really do is tweet some more.

This is what I mean? It always goes "how can you expect anyone in this admin to do something! What ideas do YOU have, huh? Well, they can't do anything anyways so stop whining!" This admin is great at talking but their actions have left a lot to be desired, and a foreign government trying to enforce censorship on Americans is absolutely something that should be dealt with using a very heavy hand. Anything less is demonstrating complete, overwhelming weakness to foreign governments.

That one dissenting circuit court judge absolutely carried this lol.

"This country was built by Somalis, Indians, Latinos, Africans"
The latinos coming in do shitty construction work on prefab houses that won't hold up 10 years.
All migrants that have come in the past 20 years have been a net negative on the states budget. They clog up the schools, roads and traffic and none of them are skilled like people think they are. The Germans of Operation Paperclip are now brown rapists and thieves.

Its funny, liberal professors would always act so smug teaching how slaves damaged the Confederate economy without realizing importing infinity shitskin illegals is the same concept. Slavery is not a viable economic model for a long term sustainable society which is what we are seeing play out in a generation now.

The US needs to make it prohibitively expensive to offshore any job to India, Mexico or any other nation. Once you give zoomers a future, all the socialism yearning will evaporate.

Every day I see articles moaning that zoomers and soyllennials would rather do Doordash, and pump crypto, and sell butthole pics on OnlyFans than work a real job in the wage cage because they're lazy and shieeeeet and that's why we need 1,00,000,000 Somali rapists but seriously look at this fucking shit.

Is it any wonder people aren't exactly thrilled about jumping into the wage cage? It's basically prison except you get to leave for a few hours.

Goodness that's terrible micromanagement, but I don't blame Amazon et al for doing that. There were (and still are) so many people bitching where I am about the 3 day a week in office. People got used to watching TV, playing games, and generally not being productive during the lockdowns and WFH mandates.

She lost her green card at one point but still managed to jeet her way into citizenship. Denaturalize and deport.

Its corrosive too. None of that money is going towards anything remotely productive. Gambling is about as valuable to an economy as war is. Lots of nice "line goes up" short term gain with a massive hangover on the back end. Governments everywhere seem to have forgotten WHY it was so strictly regulated. Its a bigger issue then just basic morality. The economic consequences of people blowing their savings and potential future investments and earnings on gambling can have catastrophic macroeconomic consequences if the activity is allowed to proliferate generally among the population and over time.
socially, gambling is probably a bit less corrosive than other vices (drug addiction, alcoholism, prostitution) but economically it is worse. a gambling habit can wipe out your entire financial existence and put you on the street faster and more thoroughly than most drug addictions.

I too remember the time when Trump endorsed Musk Mobiles for about 4 minutes in total, and caused several thousand Miggers to rush out and buy cybertrucks.
Do you think Kei trucks or smaller trucks are bad?

Its also generational. If you drink yourself to death, well, you die. But your kids get your money.

If you gamble yourself to death (Suicide, gamblers who lose everything kill themselves), well, you die and your kids get nothing. There are endless stories of generational fortunes ending up in the hands of someone who gambles it all away and leaves the next generation destitute, looking at a mansion they grew up in but no longer own and will never ever be able to own.

Gambling is one of the most vile vices imaginable, because unlike, drugs, alcohol and hedonism, the destruction iterates across time and hurts the people who haven't even been born yet.

i guess you're right though. just more proof that big business republicans will eagerly betray their country for the sake of personal enrichment when push comes to shove. traitors to the nation, traitors to the people.

My dad would tell me the story of an Arizona co-worker he knew. She worked for a big bank and she would travel to Vegas to gamble. It got really bad to the point she lost her house and car, and was using bank funds to gamble. I love a good game of poker or blackjack but I was always leery of putting real dollars on it. My friend in college says a significant number of guys bet on sports. Its so easy to do and once the alcohol starts flowing, risk tolerance drops. Its a scam, but I do enjoy seeing the Polymarket numbers. Gives a good idea of what the pulse of the nation is provided its not too rigged.

Gambling is an interesting impulse control disorder in how extreme in its polarity it is.

There's a huge spectrum of substance abuse from occasional recreational users, to functional addicts, to outright junkies but it seems like with gambling you either don't gamble at all or your homeless, naked, and missing a kidney because you bet all that shit.

It's very all or nothing.

It's tolerable if something people do on occasion but it can just as easily ruin lives. Gambling is ultimately a net negative on society, maybe it isn't if your someone making tons of money off of people losing cash in bets though.

You'll hear about a winner but not the thousands upon thousands of losers.

I have no idea why they keep trying. Trump's never going to see the inside of a cell.

Why are you even here? Why are foreigners allowed to come here and have power over actual human beings?
When the country was founded there were still people who weren't born here involved all over and then for a long time it was irrelevant. It's relevant now and needs to be fixed.

I blame valve for the popularization of gambling.
