Besides having a bunch of embarrassing tattoos and being stereotypical guidos his parents seem pretty normal. The town he's from is a suburb of Buffalo New York at it seems like he lives a pretty normal middle class life. I think that the case of Demetrious stems from giving him unsupervised internet access and his parents not knowing how to deal with it.

In the video it looks like he’s using the free version of the tts app. My guess is the fact that it’s Obama is irrelevant and he only chose it because it’s free
