So there's a woman I used to know years back. Whole time I knew her she either had an eating disorder (she was super skinny) or was in recovery from it. She went to the doctor and said "I feel like I'm fat" and they said "lol no you're not. Here, have some psychological help". She got help. And for a while she was doing fine. Years, even.

Then she started thinking she was a man. But this time when she went to the doctor they didn't say "lol no you're not. Here, have some psychological help" they basically just affirmed, confirmed... and then a few months ago she had her breasts cut off.

Having posted on social media almost every day up until that point, she now no longer posts on any platform at all, her last post being the one where she showed her surgery scars from the double mastectomy. All the comments, without exception, are "yass, omg you look amazing" etc. All affirming. And then she dipped and disappeared completely. No answers to comments/messages.

I worry that there are a million stories out there like that. I used to be pro-trans. Now I'm just pro-my-friends. I think my pal is going to deeply regret the surgery she had done this year. She still looks like a woman, the hips give her away. She will never have a functional penis. She'll probably always have a vagoo.

It just looks like self harm to me.

I'm jealous that you only saw one massive gigahon this year. I've seen at least ten, and my record is two in one day. That was only a week ago. One of them was wearing an anime maid costume with dog ears and the other one was wearing yoga pants and a sports bra.
