Women competing with/again men in professional sports, lol what a joke.

Women's NATIONAL soccer teams routinely gets walloped by 15 year old and under boys teams, same thing happens with hockey. They play 15 year old boys because men are too much for them. These are National teams, professionals, they would get killed playing against professional men's teams.

USA National Team Beaten 5-2 in 2017 by U-15 boys team:

It's an even worse comparison because the MLB doesn't actually have rules excluding women, and women have been scouted before.
Most sports analyst types will tell you baseball is probably the first sport you'll see a woman break through in. Likely as a curve or knuckleball pitcher. Shit, there was a bad tv show about a similar premise and it wasn't even that far removed from reality. (Except for the Padres winning anything ever)

Manon Rhéaume was the first female NHL player back in 1992. She was a goalie for the Tampa Bay Lightning. She didn't play too many games, like two or so.

Had a look at that Mellisa McKewan's twitter and the thing Brianna was replying to was part of a storm about how it was totally unfair that Hillary was expected to be inspiring and inspire people to vote for her, and that our society tells us that women can't be inspiring so people aren't ever inspired by women (or something like that it was quite confusing). Doesn't take very long to think of plenty of examples that prove that hypothesis false.

Once again Wu painfully fails to understand that "rising sea levels may inundate coastal cities" does not mean "we're gonna wake up in the morning and find the entirety of Boston under six feet of water". It means that the sea level will creep a few millimeters now and then and there'll be national tragedy when the millionaires start whinging that their beach houses are toppling into the sea due to subsidence. We'll just build bigger sea walls and life will go on. The only people who are seriously at risk from rising sea levels are the tiny island states.
