Cloudflare down: Websites such as X not working amid technical problems with the internet​

Parts of the web appear to have stopped working amid a technical problem at Cloudflare.

Visitors to websites such as X, formerly known as Twitter, and film reviewing site Letterboxd saw an error message that indicated that Cloudflare problems meant that the page could not show.

Cloudflare is an internet infrastructure that offers many of the core technologies that power today’s online experiences. That includes tools that protect websites from cyber attacks and ensure that they stay online amid heavy traffic, for instance.

“Cloudflare is aware of, and investigating an issue which potentially impacts multiple customers,” the company said in a new update. “Further detail will be provided as more information becomes available.”

Tracking website Down Detector, which monitors outage, was also hit by the technical problems itself. But when it loaded it showed a dramatic spike in problems.

Affected users saw a message indicating there was an “internal server error on Cloudflare’s network”. It asked users to “please try again in a few minutes”.

It's really nice that Brave clarifies for me it's Cloudflare that's the issue. While still irked I cannot get to a site I at least have the salve that it means Matthew Prince probably has a headache as a result of this.
 
This is good news gamers, Patrick Tomlinson is going to have enough time to work on his next batch of special pepperoni. He only makes it when twitter is down.
 
Absolutely wild that this kind of outage is considered acceptable to Clownflare cucks.
 
I hope it stays down forever, just so we can watch all these tech companies suffer the consequences of relying on one fucking company to solve their cyber security shit.
 
Who can fix an outage faster? Infinite jeets with "engineering" "degrees." Or one super autist \ cheese enthusiast? This is why Kiwiflare > Cloudflare.
 
But I was told taking the farms off Cloudflare would increase it's downtime, not decrease it?!

I suppose I have Liz Fong-Jones to thank for allowing me to use this site even while Cloudflare cripples the rest of the Internet? Thank you so much Lizzy!!! I'm so glad I can continue using my favorite site!!!

Imagine this lasted a few weeks and literally every cow dependent on YouTube bucks and Patreon money didn't get paid for a while. The milk would be glorious.
