Clashes in Mexico City amid Gen-Z styled protests over cartel crime and corruption

Thousands of people have rallied across Mexico, protesting against growing crime, corruption and impunity, which, though organised by members of Generation Z, ended up being mostly backed and attended by older supporters of opposition parties.

The marches on Saturday were attended by people from several age groups, with supporters of the slain Michoacan Mayor Carlos Manzo attending the protest wearing the straw hats that symbolise his political movement.

In Mexico City, a small group of hooded protesters tore down fences around the National Palace where President Claudia Sheinbaum lives, prompting a clash with riot police who deployed tear gas, according to media reports.

Mexico City’s public safety secretary, Pablo Vazquez, said in a news conference that 100 police officers were injured, including 40 who required hospital treatment.

Another 20 civilians were also injured, Vazquez told local media outlet Milenio.

The public safety secretary also said 20 people were arrested and another 20 “referred for administrative offences”.

The Gen Z anti-cartel protesters managed to break through the police lines and into the Government Palace of Guadalajara, in the Mexican state of Jalisco

TLDR: tens of thousands of people are mass protesting and rioting all over Mexico after the wake of the assassination of Mayor Carlos Manzo. Could this be the start of another Gen-Z revolution just like in Nepal?

State+Cartels versus a probable NGO backed revolution? Countdown to CIA versus FBI warfare in another country in 3...2...1...

I am just glad as long as a lot more cartel demons are divested from the system.

Unless they personally start lynching those cartel members and every junkie then the only two results will be jack and shit.

Part of the reason that the situation devolved so badly is that no one wants to get their family killed in retaliation.

Two paths:

  1. US interferes and establishes a puppet.
  2. Leave the place alone and hope they elect someone that actually cares and they El Salvador themselves.
I say do 2. Seal up that fucking motherfucking border and cover our fucking ears. Not our fucking problem and the more they are left to their own devices, the better the outcome will be.

This should be a wake up call for them. We should not get involved lest we get entrenched in politics that do not concern us.

If we do interfere, we should establish a fucking Adolf Hitler that gasses the cartels.

Edit: By the way, I am not convinced 100% of the protestors are not cartel-affiliated. I kinda want a genocide LMAO.

That's the fucking One Piece flag.

Edit: The Nepali protesters/rioters flew the same flag.

Edit 2:
Some Indonesians flying the flag just like the Nepalese.

Didn't even know this was a thing.

Holy shit, those cops did absolutely NOTHING to try to recover their buddy who got sucked into the mob and got his ass kicked. That's really telling. There is no cohesion or fraternity there. They act like a bunch of strangers who've been told "stand here and hold this".

The shield wall is better, but why are they even bothering if they're not grabbing protesters or gaining ground when they get the chance? They're just getting battered for no gain.

Based. Total Sheinbaum death. If they do not stop the whore now, they will never be able to stop her, . She will establish ties with the police and military, and just shot them. This is the only chance they have to depose her.

Die free, or become Venezuela

So the "Straw Hat Pirates" are revolting in Mexico? /sigh. Never give a job to Millenials. All you ever end up with is lazy anime shit.

Heartwarming to see young people actually fighting for something. Shame the only ones willing to do it in America are Marxist faggots who want the opposite of what's beneficial for the country.

Insane that the government is fighting to protect its murderous cartel cronies. Mexico really is a fucking shithole.

Personally they should bring back the old traditions of their Aztecian(sp?) and Spanish ancestry in picking torture and execution methods.

The U.S. has a 2,000 mile border with Mexico. Their politics absolutely do concern us.
If you try to choose a non-corrupt Mexican to place at the top, you are going to have a bad fucking time.

Clean house in that country and install an American governor over the new territory. Rename Mexico into New Southland. Make it the most formerly known as the country of Mexico-looking wheat field the world has ever seen.

You. Cannot. Trust. Hispanics. Elsewise hello Forever War Number Final One.

I agree. Truth be told I wonder if this is a sign how ineffective the Mexican government would be if their citizens managed to topple the government.

Because they don't want to be there, the mexican government is openly anticop. And sheinbaum did not learn enough of the Castro/Chavez playbook to understand that the first thing you need to do is to establish close ties with all armed forces
>Mexico is deprived of the relief valve of people fleeing over the border northward
>Within a year the youth start an anti-cartel uprising

GEE I WONDER WHY MEXICO KEPT BECOMING MORE AND MORE OF A NARCO-STATE SHITHOLE

I have been saying this for years, if you offer the youngster the choice of leaving the country, or to risk their lives to make things better. Most of them will leave, because no one wants to die, to solve problems one did not create.
