At the time of the accident, the motorcycle and the other vehicles were either slowing down or had stopped as the traffic light turned red. It was reported that the Tesla passenger car, which was the last in line, did not stop and continued to collide.
In this accident, Mr. B, the motorcycle driver in his 40s, was transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest but ultimately died. The 15 people in the other vehicles were also injured and are receiving treatment at the hospital.

According to information, the accident occurred on Platform No. 1 as the Chauri Chaura Express was slowing down to stop at the station. The young man tried to disembark from the train in the opposite direction of its movement, causing him to lose his balance and his foot to slip. He immediately fell into the narrow gap between the platform and the train.
By the time bystanders and Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel realized what was happening and rushed to help, he had been dragged along with the train and had fallen onto the tracks. The RPF immediately had the train stopped, but it was too late. The young man died a painful death at the scene due to severe internal injuries to his face and body. However, the viral video does not clearly show any external injuries to his face.
GRP (Government Railway Police) in-charge Om Narayan Singh stated that no ticket or any form of identification was recovered from the deceased, making it impossible to identify him. The victim, identified as Alejandro Higinio Flores Moreno, had just gotten off the bus and was about to cross the road when it continued moving and ran him over. The driver, who was with other passengers on board, instead of stopping to help him, accelerated and fled the scene.
"The car left him in the middle (of the road), but you can see that the 50 bus ran him over, and you can see it because the car driver honked the horn, you can hear it clearly in the video, warning him, but since he didn't pay attention, the car still ran him over," he said.
On the other hand, this person also pointed out that the passengers complained to the driver about what he did, but he only forced the people to leave the bus a few blocks further on from where he ran over the elderly man.
"We just found out that people (inside the bus) started complaining to him. And because they complained so much, he went all the way to the Tottus supermarket (in El Agustino), made everyone get off, and left. And the police officers who weren't here (at the accident site) are at the bus stop on Route 50, but the driver hasn't arrived. They didn't know the license plate number, but I found it out now. They're waiting there (the police officers)," he stated.

A suicide bomber struck outside the gates of a district court in Islamabad on Tuesday, detonating his explosives next to a police car and killing 12 people and wounding 27, the Pakistani interior minister said.
The blast, which was heard miles away, came at a time when the area is typically crowded with hundreds of visitors attending hearings. Earlier reports by Pakistani state-run media and two security officials said a car bomb had caused the explosion.
The attacker tried to "enter the court premises but, failing to do so, targeted a police vehicle," Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi told reporters.
The minister refrained from blaming any militant group but added that authorities are "looking into all aspects" of the attack. Naqvi said police investigators also confirmed the blast was caused by a suicide bomber.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the explosion, but Pakistan has struggled with militant attacks across the country and a resurgent Pakistani Taliban. Later, Pakistani Taliban splinter group Jamaat-ul-Ahrar claimed responsibility, saying the target of the attack was judicial officials and lawyers.
The TTP statement said: "Our fighter attacked a judicial commission in Islamabad. Judges, lawyers, and officials who issue rulings under Pakistan's un-Islamic laws were targeted."
The outlawed group also threatened that attacks would continue until Islamic Sharia is enforced in the country.
According to media reports, the casualties were mostly passersby or those who had arrived for court appointments. Islamabad police did not immediately issue statements about the attack but said they were still investigating.
Earlier Tuesday, Pakistani security forces said they had foiled an attempt by militants to take cadets hostage at an army-run college overnight, when a suicide car bomber and five other Pakistani Taliban targeted the facility in a northwestern province.
The attack started on Monday evening, when a bomber tried to storm the cadet college in Wana, a city in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province near the Afghan border. The area had until recent years served as a base for the Pakistani Taliban, al-Qaida and other foreign militants.
According to Alamgir Mahsud, the local police chief, two of the militants were quickly killed by troops while three militants managed to enter the compound before being cornered in an administrative block. The army's commandos were among the forces conducting a clearance operation and an intermittent exchange of fire went on into Tuesday, Mahsud said.
The administrative block is away from the building housing hundreds of cadets and other staff.
The Pakistani Taliban, or TTP, which is separate from but allied with Afghanistan's Taliban, denied involvement in the college attack. The group has been emboldened since the Taliban seized power in Kabul in 2021, and many of its leaders and fighters are believed to have taken refuge in Afghanistan.
Pakistan has seen a surge in militant attacks in recent years. The deadliest assault on a school occurred in 2014 when Taliban gunmen killed 154 people, mostly children, at an army-run school in Peshawar. The victim was taken with serious injuries to the Gustavo Domínguez hospital , where she died at 2:00 p.m. despite receiving immediate medical attention.
According to information confirmed by the Traffic Accident Investigation Service (Siat) , the incident occurred when a white van , traveling at excessive speed , attempted to overtake another vehicle , lost control and ended up hitting the car where the victim was located.
The preliminary report details that Ana Conforme suffered multiple fractures to her legs and pelvis due to the force of the impact. Her body was subsequently transferred to the forensic center in Santo Domingo for the corresponding legal procedures.

Some new small, light planes (i.e. Cirrus) and retrofitted older ones have recovery chutes built in for the entire airframe; but they aren't automatic, and can't be deployed at low altitude, high speed, or beyond extreme flight attitudes.
As for passengers, personal chutes are a matter of space and weight. They're pretty bulky which requires the seat backs/cushions to be removed, interfere with safety belts/harnesses, require regular inspection & training to use correctly, and can add so much weight with maximum number of passengers that the plane doesn't have enough power.

Not to mention the difficulty most people would have exiting a plane at speed. The air pressure on the door would be hard for almost everybody to overcome since the majority of small planes use a door that hinges like a car so you have to fight the air pressure to get the door to open at speed. If you try opening your car door on the highway you'll kind of get an idea of how hard it starts to get when you've got airflow pressing against your door. That's why skydiving planes will have a roll up or sliding door.
And when you think about it, most people won't realize they aren't going to be able to recover until they're already in a rapid descent or some other situation that would make getting out of the plane legitimately impossible. For instance from g forces holding you into the seat or tossing you into the roof/back of the plane or due to the awkward angle of the plane making it impossible for you to reach or get leverage on the door.
Plus, even if there's 50 - 100 solid videos floating around of alleged pedophiles getting their comeuppance, that's a pretty small number from a giant fucking continent.
