Well, there was a time he did try splitting his vids, but it was pre-washington, before he even moved someone pointed out he could just press stop recording. THIS was one of the true reasons he didn't switch to direct capture. That and PCs scare him, because he's a forever and always consolefag.
He doesn't even do that. He does it live by clicking start recording and stop recording in OBS through his streamdeck.

And as Turkey Tom said in his video about DSP, he could always have paid an editor. It's insane just think of all the whales that all just silently disappeared. I've only really been following for a few years, but off the top of my head, Jinx, lilcrow, haseox 1mm. All whales that just one day disappeared, then suddenly a new person "discovers" Phil and starts giving heaps of money.
He's allergic to reinvesting money on his streaming career. Same goes with doing anything for his streams outside of in front of the camera.
He knows how inept with PC he really is and that's why he's been avoiding them. There's also his autism that forces him to play every single games with a controller (even pc games).
Him being scared to just admit "I didn't really play X or do Y back in the day" has led to thousands of lies at this point it would be a 20 hour video easily of him just bullshitting.
The way he basically live edits and records youtube videos during his streams has always been pretty weird. Like he does the voiceover intros for his youtube clips live in real time during the actual livestream. Its just a really odd way to do it, and actually super lazy because he cant even do basic editing before uploading clips to youtube.
